Trump will release them once the audit is finished, you know this!

Why won't Hillary release the transcripts to the speeches she gave to Goldman Sachs? She made A LOT of money based on something she said so I think we have the right to know. What is her reason for not releasing those?

Releasing speech transcripts has no precedence and is not all that revealing anyway. And all speakers of her stature make a large amount of money for delivering speeches. It's not unusual.

He can release his taxes under audit. There is no rule against it. Even if there was he could release his 2014 taxes or any other year before that. I think Trump has something to hide.

Hide what from whom? The government has them and if they find something in the audit then I'm sure they'll tell us. Now the illegal activity that Hillary may of been engaged in we will never know because she deleted those emails, well we thought they were deleted...

hearing that Tim Kaine might not have a nominating speech at the DNC because there are fears he will get boo'd.

This convention has been a disaster, some unity!

Call me paranoid, but with the current email leak being of Russian (intelligence) origin, coinciding with Trump's call to desert our NATO allies, I have to wonder out loud if there's been collusion between the Trump campaign and Putin. Essentially: help me be President, and I'll let you run wild in Europe.

the email leak came from wikileaks, not russia. The claim that wikileaks' source was russian is not based on anything and is just speculation

Well, then the national media is speculating out loud.

They seem to like doing that.

They're blaming Russia as a distraction from the actual content of the emails, nothing new

corporate media plays defense for the MIC and their chosen candidate Hillary Clinton

But is that notion so outlandish? Why wouldn't a soulless KGB boss like Putin use the underhanded tricks of his trade to swing the election Trump's way, if Trump suggested a little help could go a long way in his Presidency?

What has Putin done that is so much more horrible than everybody else? Why might Putin want Trump to be president, so there can be rapprochement of Russian/American relations? So we can work together to beat ISIS? So the pointless sanctions that Europe doesn't even want are lifted? Sure, I guess he has reason to but do you really think that is what is happening? The reason Trump is popular in Russia and China is because he stands against the current global order and the American-led notion that we should meddle in the affairs of all other countries, the Chinese and Russians see us as imperialists. How the emails were obtained really is besides the point, they still say what they say and that's where the fallout is coming from. Maybe they shouldn't rigged the election for Bernie? Maybe the shouldn't of plotted to smear his Jewish faith and try to paint him as an Atheist. If there was nothing of note being revealed then there wouldn't be any issues, it's simply because this makes Hillary and the DNC look bad!

By the way, Trump's voicemail was hacked a few months ago but you probably didn't hear about it because it didn't reveal anything of note.

How can Mr. T---p be against globalism and a friend of China? China depends on exports.

Trump has talked about weakening NATO, and possibly not intervening if the Russians try to retake the Baltic. Sounds like a pretty good deal for Putin if Trump gets elected.

You're missing a very big point-- a lot of the new reactionaries seem to think Putin is our "friend". Don't ask for a rundown, you'll get a convoluted explanation that makes no sense and will merely waste your brain cells and time-- just realize that's the new viewpoint on Vladdie.

NATO is relic, Trump is absolute right about it. Would you start WWIII over Estonia? I wouldn't. I don't think it is going to happen tho, the situation in Ukraine is much more complicated than most people in this country understand and all we get is the propaganda from our politicians and corporate media so its easy to be caught up in fearmongering about them rolling thru eastern Europe but that is all pure fantasy. The US is the one aggressively pushing westward trying to isolate Russia but they're not supposed to respond? How would the US react to Russia meddling on our front door step? We already know, we almost started WWIII and thank god for JFK being a wise man to guide thru such a crisis without listening to the generals who surely were ready to end it all. NATO has far overexpanded, the membership does not pull its weight and realistically the mutual defense part really only counts for the US/western Europe since nobody is going to want to start a world war over Montenegro or Latvia. Do you want the US to fight a war to end all wars with Russia? I don't and I hope nobody does, we must find a way to work together or we will all perish.

No, we shouldn't start WWIII over the Baltic states - which is why we need to tell Putin to keep his sh*tty paws off of them. The people there, and elsewhere, have no desire to be part of Russia, where they'd be second class citizens tyrannized by Russian overlords. People in the Baltic remember how the Soviets of old would abuse their young men inducted into the military, simply because some members of the Baltic states had sided with Hitler.

It's called geo-politics and it's the nation-state equivalent of the school yard. Vladdie is a bully, we're a bully. If we back down Vladdie will just keep pushing for more. We have the upper hand at the moment, barely, and it's in our best interest to keep the other bully down. It's not that hard to understand. As for some of the Europeans here that seem to think Vladdie is an ally, realize this: when he takes over the Ukraine, he takes over the second largest grain producer in the world, and by far the largest European raw food producer. If you think he's going to play fair with your food supply you would be mistaken, it's called leverage and he would have it over you.

So you agree that they should not be apart of NATO? We are bound to defend them now and I have no interest in doing so, how much help have they provide? Only Estonia is spending the recommended amount of their defenses at a little over 2% of GDP while Latvia and Estonia are way below. They don't seem too worried about Russian invasion so why should we? What do we get out of this relationship? Perhaps it would be wise to not demand the isolation of Kaliningrad.

I think NATO needs to evolve beyond the Cold War, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. It should expand it's mission to combat terrorism, and the expansion of megalomaniacs like Putin.

The only way we can win in this war is by forging closer relations with Russia

we can't be supporting these 'moderate' head choppers anymore and expect a good result

I thought Obama's speech was good. America has a lot of problems, but it still has a lot of good. And the real America is here, right now, not a glimmer in the mind of some demagogue.

That is unless the megalomaniac running Russia isn't planning to take advantage of that relationship in order to swallow up the rest of Europe.
