Hawaii café bans Trump voters - "no Nazis" allowed
Assange is hardly an innocent bystander in this case, so I'm going to take him with a grain of salt.
As for McAfee - there are better companies around that do a comparable job, according to my computer repair guy. Just because they say something doesn't mean it's written in stone.
I agree with that. But I'm going to take their decades of experience in the field into consideration. Especially when I've come to similar conclusions on my own. It makes me worry about how easily the US intelligence services can be tricked into believing something. Someone pulls a mediocre phishing scam and writes "Putin was here" all over it, and their conclusion is, must have been Putin. That or they just want it to be Putin. They seem awful anxious to start "throwing rocks" at Russia. Seems like they're up to no good.
Or, maybe it was Putin who was up to no good.
I wouldn't have any trouble believing that at all, if it weren't for all the gaping plot holes.
What holes?
Mainly the unlikelihood that high level Russian intelligence would send a phishing email that had code saying "this came from the Russian government" written all over it.
Intelligence agencies pull boneheaded stunts all the time. Contrary to popular belief, intelligence agencies couldn't change the order of the days of the week without anyone noticing. The Bay of Pigs invasion failed from the start because the secret training camps and prep were the worst kept secret ever! And that's not just the CIA, but also Russian intelligence, and their KGB predecessors. So just because the hacks can be traced back to Stalin jr hardly means that they're false.
That's not a particularly forensic analysis. But then again, neither was their report for the most part. This just reminds me too much of Iraq having WMD's, according to someone setting them up with false evidence, as an excuse to go to war. "It's time to start throwing rocks at Russia".

Well, you might be interested in knowing that an agent of MI6 has learned that Putin had also been hacking into Trump's private business, and had collected a bunch of stuff he plans to extort Trump with. If this proves to be true, will you be so willing to let Russia off the hook?

I think someone, N. Korea, China, ISIS, wants to start a war between the US and Russia. I think what I'm seeing are attempts at thwarting an alliance between the United States and Russia. Putin has only expressed wanting to on good terms with the US. And Trump has only expressed wanting to be on good terms with Russia. So naturally there's all this unsubstantiated stuff going on in the background, trying to make sure that doesn't happen.

Putin doesn't want good relations with America, he wants to reduce America to being his b*tch, because he considers America responsible for the collapse of the Soviet Union, and wants to make us pay. It's a skill of spymasters like Putin to use dirt on a person for leverage and manipulation. He's doing what he was born and trained to do.

The facts are that Putin was never a KGB agent and he supported Perestroika and Mikhail Gorbachev. Also spymasters don't send phishing scams with their name all over it. Why do you seem to favor sensationalism over critical thinking? Were you also in favor of the US bombing Baghdad over non-existent WMD's back in the day?
How sure are you they have been tricked? Seems odd they have been protecting US national interests for all these years with full support of the conservative right and suddenly their credibility is being questioned because it involves Trump?

I did not believe Hussein had WMD's, and opposed Bush's adventurism into Iraq from the start.
Yes, Putin had been a Gorbachev supporter, but Hitler had also briefly flirted with communism after WWI. People and their intentions change.

No it's because it reminds me of the intel that tipped off the intelligence agencies that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction at some compound etc, which lead to a war, and then we found out the WMD intel turned out to be a
hoax. There never were WMD's in Iraq, the compound bunker they were showing satellite pictures of was just a generic empty warehouse that never had any such operation taking place.
I think there's a likelihood that the phishing email sent to John Podesta was made to look like it came from Putin. The problem I have with it is that it looks too much like that's where it came from. On one hand I hear about what a superspy KGB agent cyber hacker espionage pro Putin is supposed to be, and on the other hand I'm being told he's only capable of operating on a minimal level, sending phishing hacks with his fingerprints all over them.
What I wrote in the two paragraphs above just makes me feel somewhat leery and suspicions of the situation. I can't imagine feeling differently about it no matter who it involved.
Well there you go. I have similar doubts regarding this so far. It's not like either Saddam Hussein or Vladimir Putin were/are above what they were'are being accused of, it's that what was being presented just didn't sound quite right. And there were independent experts saying it the whole WMD deal was false info.
Oh good grief. The endless comparisons to Hitler.

Recently, I had seen a press conference pertaining to Trump in regards to the fake news story about him, wherein he said that in Nazi Germany Hitler would not have put up with such crap. Yeah, but during that time period there was no outlets to pose dissenting opinions towards Hitler or the Nazi's etiher since the press had wound up being neutered to where all news outlets in Germany could only print news stories presenting a positive view of Hitler and Nazi.

The Nazis had after all crushed all opposition in the press, and had outlawed his enemies in organized labor, and rival political parties. No one to speak out anymore.

I apologize for, I failed to mention many other civil liberties as you had mentioned.

John Podesta gave his own password away, there was no brute force cracking or some sort of 80s movie hacker ****. Almost always when there is some major breach it's because some dumby screwed up, they get the information they want from simple techniques like phishing or social engineering. A lot of people haven't seemed to grasp yet the concept of a secure password, you'd think the dodos out there would of stopped using password as there password 20+ years ago but passwords like that still seem like the norm with a lot of people unless forced to do otherwise. Podesta stupidly clicked on a fake email which was verified incompetently by one of the Clinton tech people who seemed to have a lot of problems.
Well, if you watch CNN this morning, you'll find that very issue is being discussed. Can the CIA be trusted? Not always, no, but Assange and Putin have far greater trust issues. Trump had originally said Assange should have been executed, till wh***y started covering for him, while Putin has a long history of interfering with the elections of foreign countries he's hostile to. Plus, Assange has worked with the state run Russian news service, making their collusion all the more likely. What Trump's forgetting is, as President he will need US intelligence, but his rejection of their findings on this matter will at the very least lead to a frosty relationship in the next four years.
Have you considered the possibility that you support Trump on this matter simply because you support Trump in general?
You watch a lot of CNN don't you? Assange is a very honest man. When has Assange "worked with" RT? What findings?
Assange sold himself as an honest man. But if this is all proven to be true, then he is anything but.
And if he's so honest, why hasn't he exposed Putin's abuses? Bill Maher asked him why he hasn't exposed Trump's tax returns, and just got a brush off. Seems Julian is pretty selective in who he exposes, which means he's hardly the crusader he claims to be.
Bill Maher!! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I mentioned Maher because he had consistently been an Assange ally. The fact that Assange did nothing about revealing Trump's tax returns left Maher bewildered.
Doesn't take much to bewilder that imbecile. Assange was just doing the job the corrupted media should have been doing, i.e revealing truths about Clinton. If the media was fair Trump would have won even more easily. Assange isn't hiding out in an Embassy for being a liar.
Maher isn't the media, he's a political satirist like Mark Twain. Still, Maher's question still stands: why didn't Assange out Trump's tax returns? If he was the honest activist he claims to be, he should be an equal opportunity iconoclast. After all, Maher goes after both sides of the aisle.
More fair to Trump? It's the media's job to report when a major political candidate says inflammatory and contradictory things, or when there's the hint of law breaking. Were they supposed to ignore how Trump University was a confidence scheme? Or how he had weaseled out of paying taxes? Or how he had shafted workers and contractors?
No, Assange is in hiding because he broke the law. And he would be indebted to anyone who protected him, even if that person was an autocratic strongman like Putin.
I'm not talking about Maher, that moron is irrelevant. This is a guy who 'joked' about killing people and beating women. Maher is a biased imbecile. I just answered. Assange was leveling the playing field as the media was silent on all of Clinton's crimes. The New York Times released some of Trump's tax records, but didn't say a thing about Clinton's ties to Saudi Arabia and Qatar who fund ISIS. They actually wrote an article praising her foundation. Hahaha, the media focuses on what Trump said on a bus 11 years ago but completely ignores that Clinton is a mass murderer and laughed and bragged about getting a child rapist's sentence reduced.
Assange is in hiding for telling the truth. Snowden is in hiding for telling the truth. Manning is locked away for telling the truth. The claims about Assange are made up. I didn't realise Putin was the leader of Ecuador...
Again, why isn't Assange revealing both sides? Putin is a despotic strongman, and Trump is a narcissistic man baby with a dirty past. But you wouldn't know any of that if you depended on Assange.
I've answered twice. Don't talk to me about knowledge.
