"...umpteen different genders"? There are only two, male and female. That's just a fact, it's reality, and if anyone says otherwise they're either joking or delusional.
Pure dogma. Experts disagree, and would find your amateur psychoanalysis amusing.

Good according to the metrics of the imperialists, yes. However, taking credit for delivering technology without mentioning the dehumanization and exploitation seems like cherry-picking. The colonizers didn't set out to share technology; they set out to exploit resources by any means necessary.

"...cowardly acts of colonial and postcolonial genocide on hapless/defenseless people..."
Colonialism was, overall, good for the world. Also keep in mind that it wasn't just those dastardly whites who practiced it (ex. Umayyad Caliphate, Abbasids, Han Empire, Imperial Japan, Aztec Empire, and the Sassanians, to list just a few that immediately come to mind).
Your'e a Victorian so you'll know the history wars were launched by by the likes of Professor Geoffrey Blainey, Keith Windschuttle and radio shock jock Ron Casey (a predecessor of Andrew Bolt). They have attempted (in various ways) to deny genocide of aboriginal Australians. Their agenda was to re-write Australian history. In more recent times Andrew Bolt has carried the flame with his undeclared intellectual war on aboriginals and migrants.
Blainey was of course famous for his intellectual argument to stop Asian immigration to prevent the disintegration of social cohesion in Australia. This was also taken up by sympathetic right wing intellectuals such as Professor Bob Birrell who publish data on the lack of social integration of Asian Australians in urban centres. This was eagerly grabbed by prime minister John Howard who declared there are too many Asians in Australia back in the 1990s. One of the first things he wanted to do when he was prime minister was to interfere with Australian secondary school history curriculum. He famously declared that kids should not learn (what he coined) a"black arm band" view of white Australian history

There's an interesting similarity with the Roman empire and the British empire. The Romans were lauded for building most of Britains main roads stimulating economic development while the British themselves claim they built India's railways which took India from the dark ages. In both cases the motivation was simple imperial expansion facilitating movement of resources by local slaves to the centre of their respective empires - in the case of the Roman the movement of goods from Britain to Rome and in the case of the British empire the movement of Indian textiles, cotton, salt etc. from India to London.
The local populace was meanwhile exploited to the maximum

Not to mention how, during the Roman conquest of Britain, the massacre of the small population was a greater disaster for Britain than the Anglo-Saxon invasion, the Norman invasion, or the Blitz.

Yes although the Romans were sticklers for keeping records there is little knowledge of how much damage they did. For one thing the last pre-Celtic tribes such as the Picts were wiped out. Ironically the last Picts were murdered in the north by the Scots and in the south by the Romans and subsequently Hengist and Horsa's Saxon armies mopped up the rest

I thought the remaining of the Picts had joined with the Scots in common defense against the Vikings.

To be more exact there are now 61 recognized genders.
It will be interesting to see what the experts manage convince the liberal world into believing next regarding sexuality and orientation. What's acceptable, normal, harmless and likely will even more directly involve children being a part of it.

In modern Scotland the ancient Pictish culture has been appropriated by the Scots to the extent that the Picts have been wrongly claimed as Celts. Many people aren't aware the "Scoti" people migrated from Ireland after the Romans and invaded Pict lands north of Hadrians wall. The old name for the Irish was infact "Scoti" and they are infact not indigenous to northern Britain. The Scoti took advantage of the Roman invasion and with the arrival of the Saxons in AD 400 he last vestige of Pictish culture was wiped out.
The Scots and Irish did, however, adopt the Pictish cultural trait of tattooing and their artistry which can be beautifully illustrated in the book of kells
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Kells
The Picts worshiped the serpent which is actually the symbolism in the artwork of the book of Kells. and it was their culture that St Patrick wanted to destroy (hence the myth that perpetuates to this day that Saint Patrick chased out the snakes from Ireland)
Liberal values aren't arbitrary. They are based on moral presets of harm and fairness. Pedophilia harms children. Homosexuality or being transgender doesn't harm anyone. It's conservatives who's morals are based on arbitrary "ick" factors and arbitrary religious texts from 2000 years ago.
I am using the wider term for liberalism where newer values for society. I am personally in favor of abortion, but a conservative could look at it in a way of harm and unfairness. In the future pedophilia could be seen as being non harmful. It could be an age where children being sexual is normal. In the book brace new world children in elementary school are having sex with each other.
What is harmful could be considered subjective some people consider transgender and homosexuality harmful to the person, and society. I don't though.
You can find out if people are harmed by something by asking them if they feel harmed. People who find transgender people "weird" or homosexuality "disgusting" are not harmed, end of story. They can f**k off and mind their own business if they so choose. This is not true for actual victims.
It really irks me that liberals are accused by conservatives of being post-modern moral relativists. We have concrete moral values. We just reject "ick factors" and "tradition" as moral foundations. When it comes to social conservatives... you dig and dig at them to find what's really motivating them... it always comes down to some variation of "it's tradition" or "that's icky". They may come up with mental gymnastics to try and claim there is some bases on harm-fairness, but it usually falls short of logical consistency.

On top of that, gay and trans Americans are just that - Americans - and are guaranteed the same rights as the rest of us, regardless if someone else finds them "icky."

I don't think most people know about the 63 "genders."
I didn't know too much about them until recently.
Most people think of themselves as either a man or a woman, though they don't always follow, to the letter, the supposed gender roles. I'm a mostly masculine man---but I can have some "feminine" interests sometimes. The fact of my "feminine" interests doesn't make me less of a "man."
Of course, a person can be an hermaphrodite if they bear the sex characteristics of both genders; it would be unfair to deny them the right to declare themselves of that "gender," if they so desire. It doesn't make them less of a person.
Men and women run the gamut of characteristics---from ultra-feminine men, to ultra-masculine women. It doesn't make them less of a "man" or a "woman."
If a man wants to be thought of as being a "woman," I give the man that choice, and vice versa.
But it is still rare, in this society, to not fall within the "binary" system. But if somebody wants to think of themselves as "nonbinary," what's to stop them?
I don't find all this to be indicative of a declining morality in our society.
If there's any immediate danger from declining morality I think it's the volatile opposition to people viewing existing facts in new ways. Apart from a preference towards women I've no idea where I fall on that list of ~61; all the same I don't see how it could possibly offend me. I'd rather be called SJW, snowflake, white knight etc. because 'Alt Right' seems to just mean WHINY.

If America becomes too nationalistic, too isolationist, it'll lose its uniqueness.
Are you actually f**king serious? Like the US isn't completely an isolationist when it comes to war, unless it can get some lapdogs. What the global/corporate machine wants is to make sure that normal Americans don't get any benefits, just continue to get drained with the multinational corporations just get richer. Trump's a threat to that.
