... but I still hate her.

Back in the 90s, Clinton compared black youths to vicious animals. She also is largely responsible for creating the extremely restrictive drug laws in Honduras. She's already proven that she only cares about power and has no real sense of right and wrong.

I don't think that we are helping our cause by treating Clinton like an ally. I think that we should ignore her from now on.

That's just my opinion.

African Union countries expressed outrage and demanded an apology on Friday after U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly called African nations "s**thole" countries, the African Union Mission in Washington said in a statement.

"The African Union Mission condemns the comments in the strongest terms and demands a retraction of the comment as well as an apology to not only to the Africans but to all people of African descent around the globe," it said.

He's being castigated daily out of sore loser syndrome compounded by extreme butthurt.
I find it nothing short of delightful to see them writhe in pain over him and to know that it will last another three to seven YEARS.

Yeah its so cool to have a president who constantly alienates american citizens, insults them and the people of the world and is generally nasty and unpleasant and can't quit whining on twitter.

Some people need better priorities, I'd like to see Trump lose next time around as I think it would be best for this country, not so I can see people on the right 'writhe in pain' about it...sure I wouldn't be upset if the alt-righters and white supremacists are upset by his loss but that is not why I want him out of office.

His winning or losing the next election will mostly depend on how well the voters are doing financially. He'll be a known commodity by then and people won't want to risk possible change for the worse if they are doing okay.

And if we deplorable Trump voters do lose we won't be rioting and pillaging in the streets and needing safe places.

I suppose we'll see wont we...

Also Trump has already caused change for the worse.

The New Colossus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Where does it say which countries' refugees are allowed in and which ones are not?

Any ideas on how to pay for all of those "tired, poor and huddled masses"? I'm all ears.

Wait, I know. You're a chemist, we should probably tax you more.

The principles written on the Statue of Liberty guided our forefathers in forming this country the way it is. What made the USA special is that we became the "Melting Pot" of the world. It is that particular part that made us a world power. However, I see that certain people no longer believe that works that way anymore. Funny, it was these emigrants that made the country richer, not poorer.

Go ahead on taxing chemists more, I will leave this country if it actually happens and I will not be alone in doing so. I have connections that I can use to go somewhere else where science is still held with regard. There are plenty of countries that respect scientists more than this one. Scientists are already being attacked by the current administration here when it comes to funding and environmental issues, so it should be no surprise when we leave in mass.

A brief history lesson:

Eighty years ago, a certain government (Nazi Germany) started attacking members of the scientific community if they did not follow their agenda to the letter. Many of the brightest scientists left, emigrating to different countries, never to return. That country's real scientific progress fell by the wayside while it became consumed with war. The other countries (including the USA) greatly benefited from the influx of good scientific minds, which lead to the creation of nuclear power. In the end, it did not go so well for Germany. Sound familiar?

History repeats itself to those who do not learn from it.

As I thought. YOU JUST PROVED MY POINT. People like you want to bring everyone here on God's green earth, HOWEVER, when we start talking about what it really takes IN MONEY to take care of them, YOU are the first to high - tail and run. TYPICAL LEFTIST!

You know what your little story about the Statue of Liberty reminds me of? All the real immigrants who really want to come here and do it the legal way, BUT THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THEM BECAUSE OF THE DAMN a**holes THAT COME HERE ILLEGALLY!

SO DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT YOUR LITTLE SOB STORY ON THE STATUE OF LIBERTY! I'M ANOTHER ONE THAT DOESN'T WANT ANYONE HERE THAT ISN'T GOING TO BENEFIT THIS COUNTRY. I SURE DON'T WANT ANYONE FROM THE DAMN THIRD WORLD SH!T HOLES THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO FORK OVER MORE TAX MONEY FOR AFTER YOUR KIND LEAVES!

For the worse, huh? He's given some people extra spending money for anything they want to use it for - even pot. That should make them worship at his feet. Don't you think?

My sister in law got her $1000 from AT&T already as soon as the tax cut went into affect. She's happy as a lark and with Trump and she's one of you. She might be won over yet. Just like Mr. R. said, it will depend on how people are doing both job - wise and money - wise when the voting begins. And then there are the ones like me who will be voting for Trump no matter what.

Anyone who has demonstrated such abysmally poor judgement and such a minimal capacity for critical thought and abstract reasoning ability as evidenced by voting for and continuing to support a racist misogynistic bigot who was endorsed by Nazis, the Ku Klux Klan, and Moscow, has pretty much told me all that I need to know about them.

"At this point, the only reason left to support this President, is that he reflects your hateful heart; he shares your contempt of people of color, your hostility toward outsiders, your ignorant bigotry, your feeling of supremacy."

I like threads like these on WP because they drag the racists out of the woodwork as well as the ignorant, that is, those not upset by the President's xenophobic remark because they have no racial connection or emotional investment in it and, therefore, cannot understand the uproar. I still forgive both parties.

Sorry, but you are dead wrong on where I stand. I am not leftest. Least you forget, I grew up in rural Kansas and was Republican at one time. I understand how ingrained the politics are in Kansas, as I personally knew a few of the senators/governors from there. However, I experienced what one bad apple can do to a political party within my "home" state (Brownback). Glad to say I escaped that state of disillusion. Since then, I became an independent, not a blind supporter of either political party in the USA. That puts me as a centralist if you can handle the fact of the matter.

Rant and rave all you want, but it really does not matter. What I wrote of previously is the truth, it is in the history books for all to see. The USA was always the "Melting Pot" of the world, whether or not you like it. Did you not have government/civics class in your high school? It was required when I went to high school in Kansas way back then. Maybe you need to go back and relearn it before commenting further about this issue with me.

Old Sam Clemens had a few relevant words to say about this, too:

"To the Person Sitting in Darkness"

We are certainly exporting the real thing with the cover left off, and have been for awhile now.

Funny, IIRC when I (briefly! Don't ask for a demo!) studied Russian in college, Twain and Hemingway were apparently the most admired US authors, in the then-Soviet Union.

Give a racist enough rope and they'll hang themselves everytime. At least they can't go around hanging anybody of color at will like before.
I bet Trump would like for a bunch of blonde hot young women to move here. It's about time for him to upgrade to a newer model.
When I think of the average Trump supporter I think of a lemming....running...
