I have to agree, Biden is probably not the best choice...although criticism he is facing is hardly warranted.

I thought you didn't like racists??... Oh, it's ok when liberals are racist. I get it now....

Considering Trump's own extreme racism, the choice is obvious. And the fact remains, the vast majority of black Americans support Biden, which should tell you something.

JP is no longer on this site.

That's news to me. Where'd he go?

Someone said, some time ago, that he was mod-banned.
I can't work out why.
He was so, so mild mannered in his opinions.

This makes no sense.

Do you, for example, consider the expansion of access to health care under the Affordable Care Act to be an example of "hating" the working class?

If you were saying merely that liberals/progressives have not done anywhere nearly enough for the working class, then I would agree with you. But liberals/progressives have certainly done a lot more for the working class than conservatives would ever be willing to do.

The ACA had already been passed by Mitt Rominee in Massachusetts. Obama and the Dems rolled over for big pharma and the insurance companies when they failed to implement single payer into ACA.

f**k the Democrats! They are actually worse than the Pubs because they are wolves in sheep's clothing! Anybody who still believes they care about the working people is living in a dream world.

Like the Republicans are all for unions, worker rights, and closing the wage gap. Last I checked, the Republicans were all for big business and the wealthy, while keeping working people in line with hot button issues like illegal immigration, Muslim immigration, gay marriage, etc, all the while said Republicans saw away at what working Americans have.

Both parties are bought and paid for by big business. Wake up! It won't kill you to see the truth. It may be troublesome to step out of the Left vs. Right paradigm, but you'll get over it. I did.

Total agreement.
Corruption is rife on both sides of the political divide.

BTW,
I could never resolve/reconcile the concept of multi-millionaires/billionaires embracing liberal/progressive philosophies.

But I wouldn't hold my breath for Kraichgauer to change his views.
Kraichgauer is very partisan, and there is nothing anyone but he can do about it. 8O

Nope, never, as long as I know I'm right.

He is choosing a woman, and it looks as if it will likely be Amy Klobuchar. But we don't know yet.

I would have guessed Steve Martin, who is known for saying "I was born a poor black child." In his movie The Jerk

On this forum, most of the racist remarks I've received were from proclaimed white liberals.

Just because I don't buy into right wing populism hardly means I don't have an open mind. In fact,as far as civil rights and medical care for all are concerned, I can easily claim having a far more open mind than the Trump cult has.

Now now, the Trump supporters do include some nice people who aren't cultish...merely they are good at mental compartmentalisation

Compared to me, your mind is like Fort Knox. 8O

I have explained that I am not a Trump fanboy, but I approve of some on his/the-Republican policies.
You, on the other hand, only see Republicans as evil.
From memory, you have been very binary on this point, stating that all Republicans are bad, even the religious ones, who you see as having been corrupted.
This is *not* the definition of an open mind, me thinks. :chin:

I find this depth of partisanship "Deplorable", errr, as HC would say.
Not a personal attack.
Simply a humour infused observation. 8)
