Woman calls cops another Black Jogger
She knew she did the wrong thing....lets go through her mistakes
1. She called 911 which is an abuse of this service
2. Her emergency was not an an emergency
3. She was on video threatening to
She made mistakes for sure.
Hindsight is 20/20.
I am not even sure the best course of action if someone tries to film you.
Know the law is the first thing.
Remain calm, and silent is probably good too.
Her employer were experts in risk management/insurance so their decision to sack her suggests she was always on flimsy ground

I see them advertise on the financial news tv station, so they spend a lot of money on advertisements.
She is generating lots of negative publicity for them.
The video has 11+ million views.
They don't want to be dragged through the mud with her.

I think this is very relevant - how come so many of these women get away with making false claims about black people and are not prosecuted for abusing the 911 phone service? or for a hate crime?
the same person would say again, "more accusation sans explanation." no use.

Guess you are just a racist towards white people. It's quite common thing that black guys behave like s**t and call other being racists if those dislike their kind of behaviour. Just like here. Any guy who starts to film a woman without even asking her whether she is OK with it is a really big s**thead. He did behave like an a**hole towards a women he didn't even knew! Do you really like people who are that way? If it's up to me then you can take them all and do whatever you want with them as long as you care that they stop to bother any other people.

you are just deflecting blame off of the bearer of false witness, or do you think it is ok to SWAT somebody?
I dislike it but I sometimes it's the best way to deal with idiots and it's by far nicer than sueing them.

that is beyond the pale. endorsing the SWATting of somebody who did you no harm. i am wondering if some folks think the mere existence of some people does them "harm."
I think both of them made big mistakes:
1) The mistake that the guy made is that he took upon himself the role of the ranger and came up with his own ideas on how to punish the supposed violations of the law. If the "actual" ranger -- or an officer -- were to see a dog off the leash, they would have given a fine, or whatever the punishment is. They wouldn't have tried to lure the dog.
2) The mistake that the girl made is that, instead of saying she was given a vague threat, she said her life was threatened. The part about threat is true: "I will do something you wouldn't like" is a threat. But the part about "life" threat is false, because he didn't specify it.
However, in order to see who is "more" at fault, you have to keep in mind that the guy pre-meditated everything, as evident from the fact that he had the food ready. On the other hand, the girl was taken up by surprise and had to act on the spot. And human beings are not robots, you can't expect them to act on their feet in the situations they were TOTALLY unprepared for.
And, by the way, even though he dind't threaten her life, he DID scare her. The phrase "I will do something you won't like" doesn't say that its murder -- but it doesn't say that it isn't, either. So maybe he had in mind just call her a couple of names and thats it, or maybe he had in mind that he was going to kill her, or maybe it was something in between. What was she supposed to think? Its perfectly reasonable for the instinct of self preservation to make one think of the worst possible scenario.
I guess there are two things playing a role here. On the one hand, there is self preservation -- so she has to think of worst possible scenario. On the other hand, there is a presumption of innocence, so she can't say that he was going to do something if she doesn't have 100% evidence for it. So I guess what she "should have" said is "he threatened me with something, I don't know what it is, I am concerned it might have to do with murder, but thats just one of several concernes because I don't really know so I won't accuse him of it, but since I have this concern I want to do something". But that requires quite a bit of thought, doesn't it. And can you really expect someone to think when they are feeling scared? I can say crazy things when I get scared and I am sure you do too.
The bottom line is basically what the guy did was pre-planned, and the girl was put in a scary situation she was totally unprepared for.

Actually both of them are upper class twats (she and he)....she's already paid for her attempt at killing her namesake (Cooper) using "death by cop"
By logic do you think Franklin-Templeton hate white people? top 10 dumbest comment I have read on WP

10 Pages and counting about two a**holes having what should have been considered a minor dust-up that has somehow turned into a Rorschach test on racism, sexism, privilege, and Karen's.(SMH)

the truly scary thing is that she was only one of the less cagey ones who got caught. the majority get away with their domination games, nobody ever knows but their victims. there are MANY "karens" out there ready to harm us if they happen to catch wind of us or cross our path. aside from the ones who wear that silly@$$ed red cap, you can't tell what they are until they got you.
