It seems George Floyd's arrest was over passing a fake bill of some denomination, maybe a $20 or a $100 or something, awful petty crime to die, hardly a violent offense that would require officers to be vigilent in protecting themselves.

It was reported that everyone arrested last night is from out of state, and they're trying to figure out who is orchestrating this.

Well, it could be the actual Attorney General of Minnesota who actually promotes terrorist organizations.

Maybe so,but counterfeit is forgery,I don't know there are many news stories out there.

The OP said forgery in progress, fake bills could be reported as forgery in progress, when cops get an in progress call it's not always known exactly what's happening at that point.Or maybe it was a forgery, this stories all over the news.

It may have been something besides a bogus 20, but everyone is in agreement that it was a nonviolent act.

Refresh my memory, didn't the Rodney King riots stay in the Los Angeles area instead of all over like now?
The Rodney King and Watts riots stayed in Los Angeles. This is spreading across country, this is bad :skull:

Protests and riots were pretty widespread after the Rodney King verdict if arguably not quite as bad
Rodney King Verdict Protests in San Francisco

Most of what I found are behind paywalls but from memory Atlanta was hit hard then also. The best comparisons are the Long Hot Summer of 1967 and the riots following the assassination of MLK where were worse than this has been so far.

The conflagration following the killing of four students by National Guardsmen at Kent State University belongs in thr conversation somewhere.

She does not approve of what happened.

She does not approve arsons, demolition and looting.
I'm all with her on this.

I'd be real surprised if they weren't,plus easier to sell quick than a TV set or something.Methadone clinics, another goldmine 8)

It looked pretty bad, busted windows on businesses, graffiti, debris on sidewalks. I have not been downtown, only seen photos of the damage.

I feel sorry for small businesses because they will not have the insurance to cover the damage so it's basically business loss and their income. Major businesses do like Nike, Apple, Microsoft, shopping centers, Target. They are a big cooperation. The owner wouldn't have to worry because the cooperation will cover the damage.

Luckily nothing seemed to have gotten burned.

By dispensaries, I meant canabis. I think methadone clinics only hand out prescriptions for the stuff to take to a pharmacy. Though you got me thinking of another goldmine idea. Raid a pharmacy for some morning after pills in a blue state and sell them online for customers in red States.

I know what you meant, pot's legal in my state.Methadone clinics give Methadone or Suboxone at the clinic by a nurse to one client at a time usually followed by a drug test, trusted clients can get take homes for weekends and holidays. They don't give any scripts to be filled elsewhere.

However your idea of looting the pharmacy is probably a better idea anyway, they have better drugs there.
