Yes, anyone not hysterically enraged over ANYTHING Trump says or does, real or imagined, is nothing other than a f*****g RACIST!! !
Have you ever stopped to think that it's that attitude toward non-progressive that helped get Trump elected?

African Union countries expressed outrage and demanded an apology on Friday after U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly called African nations "s**thole" countries, the African Union Mission in Washington said in a statement.

"The African Union Mission condemns the comments in the strongest terms and demands a retraction of the comment as well as an apology to not only to the Africans but to all people of African descent around the globe," it said.

I honestly hope he tells them to go f**k themselves.

Hey, I actually agree with Raptor on something!

I bet that hurt :P

Quote:
Yes, why is he being castigated by so many so suddenly, as though no one ever before in the history of the U.S. Presidency ever had thoughts like this? Seriously, THIS is news?!?! 8O

He's being castigated daily out of sore loser syndrome compounded by extreme butthurt.
I find it nothing short of delightful to see them writhe in pain over him and to know that it will last another three to seven YEARS.

Yeah its so cool to have a president who constantly alienates american citizens, insults them and the people of the world and is generally nasty and unpleasant and can't quit whining on twitter.

Some people need better priorities, I'd like to see Trump lose next time around as I think it would be best for this country, not so I can see people on the right 'writhe in pain' about it...sure I wouldn't be upset if the alt-righters and white supremacists are upset by his loss but that is not why I want him out of office.

His winning or losing the next election will mostly depend on how well the voters are doing financially. He'll be a known commodity by then and people won't want to risk possible change for the worse if they are doing okay.

And if we deplorable Trump voters do lose we won't be rioting and pillaging in the streets and needing safe places.

I suppose we'll see wont we...

Also Trump has already caused change for the worse.

For the worse, huh? He's given some people extra spending money for anything they want to use it for - even pot. That should make them worship at his feet. Don't you think?

My sister in law got her $1000 from AT&T already as soon as the tax cut went into affect. She's happy as a lark and with Trump and she's one of you. She might be won over yet. Just like Mr. R. said, it will depend on how people are doing both job - wise and money - wise when the voting begins. And then there are the ones like me who will be voting for Trump no matter what.

It takes an actual breadwinner to understand anything about that. Most people I've ever worked with have been republican leaning. There have always been a smattering of democrats around but I don't mind because they provide entertainment. Sometimes we're fortunate enough to get enough of them in the same place whining and sniveling at once so that it creates a nice little symphony.

If there were less people in attendance for Trump's inauguration last year than Obama's in '09 it was because that missing difference from the Trump inauguration couldn't get out off of work that day or had businesses to run.

On a brass plaque attached to the Statue of Liberty:

The New Colossus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Where does it say which countries' refugees are allowed in and which ones are not?

Any ideas on how to pay for all of those "tired, poor and huddled masses"? I'm all ears.

Wait, I know. You're a chemist, we should probably tax you more.

The principles written on the Statue of Liberty guided our forefathers in forming this country the way it is. What made the USA special is that we became the "Melting Pot" of the world. It is that particular part that made us a world power. However, I see that certain people no longer believe that works that way anymore. Funny, it was these emigrants that made the country richer, not poorer.

Go ahead on taxing chemists more, I will leave this country if it actually happens and I will not be alone in doing so. I have connections that I can use to go somewhere else where science is still held with regard. There are plenty of countries that respect scientists more than this one. Scientists are already being attacked by the current administration here when it comes to funding and environmental issues, so it should be no surprise when we leave in mass.

A brief history lesson:

Eighty years ago, a certain government (Nazi Germany) started attacking members of the scientific community if they did not follow their agenda to the letter. Many of the brightest scientists left, emigrating to different countries, never to return. That country's real scientific progress fell by the wayside while it became consumed with war. The other countries (including the USA) greatly benefited from the influx of good scientific minds, which lead to the creation of nuclear power. In the end, it did not go so well for Germany. Sound familiar?

History repeats itself to those who do not learn from it.

As I thought. YOU JUST PROVED MY POINT. People like you want to bring everyone here on God's green earth, HOWEVER, when we start talking about what it really takes IN MONEY to take care of them, YOU are the first to high - tail and run. TYPICAL LEFTIST!

You know what your little story about the Statue of Liberty reminds me of? All the real immigrants who really want to come here and do it the legal way, BUT THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THEM BECAUSE OF THE DAMN a**holes THAT COME HERE ILLEGALLY!

SO DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT YOUR LITTLE SOB STORY ON THE STATUE OF LIBERTY! I'M ANOTHER ONE THAT DOESN'T WANT ANYONE HERE THAT ISN'T GOING TO BENEFIT THIS COUNTRY. I SURE DON'T WANT ANYONE FROM THE DAMN THIRD WORLD SH!T HOLES THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO FORK OVER MORE TAX MONEY FOR AFTER YOUR KIND LEAVES!

My Norwegian name is on that statue & I've broken as many laws as anyone.

Hmmm the counter-argument the trumpfans (and Trump himself) are hiding behind is there is no evidence he said those things

pretty flimsy counter-argument

In addition to democrat senator Durbin (who has no reason to concoct this story) we also have
republican senator Jeff Flake
whitehouse spokesperson Raj Shah who both corrobarated the racial content of Trump's speech to lawmakers regarding what to do about refugees

It's only a matter of time before a few more present among the US lawmakers admit Trump blurted those comments

In any case Leaders around the world spoke out in anger on Friday. Haiti summoned the American envoy to the country, El Salvador’s president lodged a diplomatic protest, and the UN’s spokesman on human rights told reporters “there is no other word one can use but racist.”

The damage is done...

Please, just I beg you please, tell me you are joking? It's not up to Trump to prove he isn't guilty. It's up to them to prove it. I mean I know you are very desperate for this to be true so you can virtue signal, but you can't just make up your own rules when it comes to law.

Oh no, the horror if he did say something rude, so much worse than actually destroying an African country like Libya as Obama did, killing thousands of black Africans and turning it into Jihadi express and backing the Jihadis there and in Syria.

Innocent until proven guilty. The media are treating allegations as fact and doing damage to their own country in the eyes of foreign powers and peoples. It's lunacy. If this was Hillary, you can bet the American media would be in full damage control mode. And not the breakers of the story. They'd be doing pieces casting doubts on the Republican sources and emphasising there's no proof and Hillary denies it and painting rosy pictures about her as supporting evidence.

I just want to see some dispassionate reporting on Trump, reporting the news instead of trying to create and shape it. Foreign media is also guilty of this.

Or we just don't care very much about his flaws, real and imagined, as long as his presidency brings something actually important.....like economic growth.

I doubt he goes back in.He hasn’t made any difference around here.
No change in rural America,no new jobs,no pay raises, and the working poor don’t make enough to get a cushy tax break. Some of the folks here that voted for him won’t again. He is basically an over glorified real estate developer and they’re all as crooked as a barrel of snakes.
