If a country does all the right other things without masks it should have “low” number of infections. If they also use masks correctly they have a better chance of low or lower rates of infections then if they don’t use masks. There are often other factors involved. Australia might have low numbers because it is summertime there of most viruses do not do well in hot humid environments.
Since so much about COVID-19 is unknown all that is left is flawed correlation connections.
I accept this...the issue is for those at risk and those working in high risk environs need access to the N95 masks. But people at risk for health reasons are already hold up at home so it's kind of redundant.
And yes we have just entered the flu season but there has been mass vaccination as our Commonwealth Serum Labs have released extra stocks of flu vaccines, My daughter has been inoculated for the first time. We will ride through the winter and expect things to be back to normal.
