I don't like the British way of dealing with this. Only go out when absolutely essential please, The British are great in a crisis but "stay home" should replace the WW2 mind set of "carry on no matter what."

We’re in one of those rural “cities” that have five streets a cathedral and a railway station. We’re also fairly anti-social tbh: we only leave the house to work and buy food. Stocked the cupboards and freezer yesterday, so should just be work now... rent & bills,
rent & bills.
There’s no way my wife won’t carry on without explicit government orders to stay in, and if I stop I won’t be able to cope with the argument.
I’ve thought my country’s obsession with casting our whole national identity around WW2 is nothing but toxic for quite some time now... but that’s a tangent

I didn't check it myself but a news site says, restaurants work delivery-only. Poles don't eat out much in general, only lunches at work and many don't go to work.
The remote schooling... my ADHD kid is already done with her schoolwork, the Aspie kid is... well... probably not much better than she would have been at school.

I love something I encountered everywhere in Turkey - a toilet seat with a built-in spout and the turncock for it somewhere at the wall next to the seat. So handy and hygienic!
