Very interesting if the drink itself made from dead animals. Oh it's just the container that's animal? 'yawn'

its not like anyone here would actually buy beer like that.

It's $750 a bottle...heck no, I'm not buying it. I'd want at least a dead bear for that much.

Though they have an upmarket version now...hmm, is it worth $750 for a beer in a dead squirrel dressed in a tux, I ask myself...

miss punky.....you know i'm with you on the human/animal thing.....but.......you know how lions follow wildebeest until they can pick off the very old or injured..that's what is going on here. you show a vulnerability and these killers are going to pounce on you fast. just have to let them roar and let it go. it's a cruel fracking world out there and being young and sensitive puts you on every creep's list. think about it.

not trying to make you mad or feel bad. just pointing out the obvious. those of us who believe in animal rights...well, we're a small group.

No one is making fun of Punky. We're making fun of the beer. You're taking a lighthearted thread about a silly beer as personal, when it isn't. To call it bullying or 'killers pouncing' is...well, politely put, inaccurate and a little offensive to say the least.

If there is a moral objection to be made, it's to those who manufacture the beer, and those who buy it; but i'll save my sense of outrage for the meat, fast food, whaling, and other industries that engage in serious, large scale abuse of animals; not a gimmicky beer that will sell maybe a half dozen bottles total.

I'm sure I'm going to be rebuked for this. Ah well. Brb, I need a beer, where's my squirrel? [<-----tasteless humour]

How is it "sick", exactly? Sure, it's not very healthy beer, but it's hardly "sick".

It's also extremely expensive - £500 per bottle. I won't be rushing out to buy it - but at that ABV it isn't really a beer anyway.

Having said that, most of their weaker beers (below about 12%) are very good. I haven't tried any others other than that, apart from Tokyo and Tokyo*.

BrewDog, along with Thornbridge and one or two others like Meantime, are among the best craft breweries in the country.

Must buy some Punk IPA when I next see some.

Though, very impressive stunt if it gets the attention of protesters. Controversy lines the wallet.

The Righteous (in the form of fake charities like Alcohol Concern and Alcohol Focus Scotland) fall for it every time. Every time. ret*ds.
