Such a sad world we live in. Too many lives will be lost to this dumbness. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Exactly! Also, I am strongly opposed to this bill! The Fifth Amendment states:

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

America is a veiled authoritarian state. We are slowly giving away our rights in the same of safety and protection. Quickly becoming gripped under tyranny by oligarchy and corporatocracy.

How long before we become something like in Jennifer Government? Or worse: corporatocracy with a facade of theocracy?

America is slowly becoming a half-authortarian/half-totalitarian police state.

Who knows? Maybe the US will become a police state in the future.

it is entirely possible. America is running a paralel path with ancient rome in that now we are in a covert class war. We are also rulled by the top 10 percent of the country who control almost all the money and power. Rome also recycled coins (money) and made more money out of less and less gold which causes inflation. US sold all of the gold backing the dollar a while back ago. I think it was Nixon that did that. As a result, inflation continues to rise. Our dollar is worth 12 cents of what is used to be worth.
The only major difference between rome and the US is technology is much more advanced and take-overs are now covert rather than overt....spun with propaganda the people wont know what happened until all is said and done.
