Don't worry, I was interested enough to look it up. According to the US Department of Education 32% of American school children say they have been bullied and according to the NSPCCC (National Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Children) the British rate is 31%. Both countries are equally appalling at dealing with this when compared to where we are currently, Sweden, where the figure is 2%.

It may be true that the bullying rate is roughly the same, but I was talking about the severity of the bullying. Like i rarely experienced physical bullying of any kind.

According to the US Department of Education 8% of school children in America experience physical bullying.

The US Department of Education also say that on average 16.5 children are murdered by other children in US schools each year. In the UK it is such a rare event that 2 hours spent trawling the internet has revealed nothing. In the 35 years I lived in the UK I only ever heard of 2 or 3 such deaths in the whole time period.

That is sad, but the article is old. Read the very last/first comment (by Feefee I think). her son went to that school, and he was an aspie. she should have the video removed from youtube,
