Another thing I don't get is....no one is forcing anyone to stay and cook food. If they are so pissed off about it they are free to leave right? volunteering to do something and then bitching about it when you're free to leave any time seems like more of an attempt to cause drama then anything.
And no - i wouldn't want to work for 18 hours a day either and no-one should have to, they should get by on what is given to them for free, or if they can afford it - bring their own food.
Explains why the Tea Party rallies were so peaceful and OWS were throwing rocks and relieving themselves on Police cars.
Free tuition is available. They need to do their homework better. If they fill these out they will be all set....

I know a couple of 11-Bravos and a 92-Alpha who got some college money, not a lot. No one gets 100% of their tuition paid by Uncle Sam for serving; they get *some* money.
Yes, they do. Go do some research.
I get 100% tuition assistance. I only pay for books.
The Post 9/11 GI Bill covers 100% of tuition, depending on what school you choose to attend.

Misinterpretation of the OWS' aims in general and attempt to stereotype the OWS as a group looking for handouts, i.e. typically left wing, on dubious evidence. Also contradictory is that you accuse the OWS of sitting and waiting for a handout whilst they protest and you don't actually try to find a solution.
A cliche used to elicit general revulsion by reference to a hate political ideal on no evidence. Essentially typecasting a whole group because of certain people inside it. General rumour-mongering.
Ironic given the mention of not only a political system (socialism) and also an objective (protesting against a broken system). Furthermore a forced cliche that a protest has to have some specific agenda rather than agitate for an ideal.

Were you trying to be sarcastic because you managed to contradict your message I believe. Are you ironically saying that the Tea party protests weren't peaceful and so weren't the OWS?
Didn't th tea party get harangued for racism? Haven't tea party rallies included people intending to violate basic human rights by imposing their changes? Also I'd like to see where the OWS threw rocks. I'd also like you to explain why OWS protesters shouldn't be angry when they are actually agitating for an ideal and whn the police have been brutal and moreover there have been suggestions of police coercion and lying.
Remember when the Democracy Village set up camp in Parliament Square, London? Leaving aside their feud with the Brian Haw (now sadly RIP) peace campaign, Eastern European tourists also set up camp, maybe thinking it was legal to camp there, and the local homeless people, who maybe sought safety in numbers. The Democracy Villagers began calling such people 'freeloaders', which is astonishing language to hear from activists.

So far I can note several occasions when the police went nuts on the protestors and only their testimony ever produces any sort of wrongdoing. Protestors have done sit ins and been cleared away with men with nightsticks. Ironically that never happened at any Tea Party rally either. Bloody hell.
