*sings*
When the game of life makes you feel like quittin'
It helps a lot if you kill a kitten.
There's no crime that you'll be committin'
...
I don't remember the rest.

I think both are cruel.

Lobsters are delicious.

How do you know kittens aren't?

I don't think the sentence was appropriate. Should've been longer.
With mandatory anger management therapy thrown in.

I wish I was there at the time. I would have saved the lives of those poor, innocent Furbabies. I have a soft spot for dogs and cats, and I hate to see, or read about, or hear about anybody being cruel to them. Nobody better do that to my little Chico. I'd kill them if they tried to do that to my Doggie.

With apologies to the Pointer Sisters:

I'm ridin' in your car, you turn on the radio
You're pullin' me close, I just say no
I say I don't like it, but you say I'm a liar
Then you throw my cats into the fire.

Late at night, you're takin' me home
You say you wanna stay, I say I wanna be alone
I say I don't love you, but that raises your ire
And then you light my cats on fire.

You had a hold on them right from the start
A grip so tight I couldn't tear it apart
My nerves all jumpin', actin' like a fool
Well my kitties may burn, but you stay cool.

There was a similar article to this in the news a few months ago. Two teenagers were caught on security cameras putting cats in a cage, puring glue all over them, and then lighting them on fire. I was disgusted, so I left the table to cool off. As a result, I missed what their penalty was.

Yeah, some people are just f@#$ing cruel.

I don't understand it.

Can someone help me understand why we, mankind, find joy in others pain?
