Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to suggest any interaction between cannabis and other lifestyle impacts.

All I mean is that for most people, the first impact that they see in their bodies from their lifestyle choices is in their weight. Metabolism will generally slow down (though the impact varies from person to person) and if diet and exercise habits don't keep up, then the body is going to start, "putting stuff aside for winter." Blood pressure and blood chemistry issues come next, and then the big ticket items like cancer and degenerative conditions even later.

And I mean it when I say that life is about quality, not quantity. If marijuana is the only thing that works then so be it. But it might be worth a conversation about looking at alternatives, over time. Or not. That's up to you.

hmm I see your point with the body putting stuff away and all, but is that not based on people with more normal levels of stress? I mean one of the main issues is my body uses up so much energy because for one I don't have a car so I have to walk quite a bit to get places the bus is kind of expensive so I try to walk when I can but on top of that I have the constant on edge state that takes a lot of energy. So basically even if I eat a normal amount it seems like I burn it off too quickly and of course I am a bit underweight. So I guess I am thinking something that might slow that down would be a good thing. But if anything my level of excercise will increase.

But yeah I am open to alternative methods besides smoking...but for now that seems to be the best option. I don't really know of anything that would be effective that is not more damaging or addictive than cannabis. I mean some anti-anxiety meds might help but I hear those can be damaging and pretty addictive.

I don't even like the s**t, it nearly killed me the few times I smoked it but being fat and eating junk food every day is probably more dangerous to your overall health. Legalize the stuff already so we can stop hearing about it.

Well I don't doubt you may have had a bad experience...but how did it nearly kill you? did you puke and or pass out? because that happens long before you can ingest enough to suffer a fatal overdose. So unless you either had some pure THC capsules or something or some really, really, really good hash I don't see how that works, unless of course you are allergic to it or something.

Also legalizing will not stop it from being heard about, in fact its likely even more information would come out about it because its legal so it would be easier to study.

I know that if you have schizophrenia or if it runs in your family pot is more likely to bring out psychosis. It can get really bad as well, I've had experience with this with my friend who has schizophrenia and substance abuse.

Yes more likely, however I have also heard it can also sometimes decrease the symptoms...hence why a lot of people with schizophrenia self medicate with it. I can't give a real statistic I've just talked to people who self medicate psychotic symptoms with cannabis, so I imagine its not super uncommon.

I'm curious if there is any significant difference to those people who use a vaporizer.
