How is manilatwist being a troll? His posts are on-topic for this forum, are they not? Isn't this where "current events" discussion belongs? It's not like he's doing this in the "getting to know you" or "haven" forums. It seems the problem you have with him has more to do with the fact that his agenda runs contrary to your precious cultural/political/social prejudices. Well, boo-hoo. Get over it.
The fact that he post horrible remarks about our troops who are fighting to protect us IMO is a troll. I have a cousin who just got back from Iraq so I do take it personally, and I'm sure those who have family members in Iraq feel the same way. I thought I enlighten you, genius.
I've read of some of our troops who have raped, who have abused prisoners, and who have deliberately shot journalists. I do not see them as fighting to protect us when they are on the other side of the world draining all of our military strength to destroy already pretty much worthless real estate in a country that could not have done anything significant to us. We, sir, are entitled to our opinions, and it does not make us trolls when we post "horrible" remarks about our troops. I'm getting the strong impression that the usual crop of brain-dead bullies are running the show over there and while maybe as many as eighty percent of them are good men, as usual the rest are making it completely rotten for all concerned.
So it's hard for you. Do a little research instead of handling it by going into denial, and yes you certainly are in denial right now. Guess what? Johnny never became a heroic angel just because he was assigned to go somewhere and "fight for our freedom" especially against a country like Iraq that was no threat and everyone knows the war is the worst joke of this century. Learn it, know it, grow up, and stop killing the messenger.
