You must live in a different part of Lancashire to me Tequila.
I didn't know the tories had a stronghold there.

I usually vote Green, but i think they've gone downhill since David Icke left.

Ever heard of the Ribble Valley? One of the safest Tory seats in the country. The Fylde seat is quite strong too.

And I refer to ceremonial Lancashire, not the historic one. ;)

I remember listening to Ken Livingstone speak ( over a decade ago).
He was also very charismatic; just can't imagine it from this Brown geezer.
Be careful, i think they may get taught it nowadays.

I thought that was in Germany.

I agree though that UKIP and BNP are going to really gain ground if the big three don't get their act together. Hopefully the SNP and Plaid Cymru can get their acts together and make the same gains.

I suppose being Unionist. a libertarian and anti-EU (I'm not anti-European, just don't think this increasingly centralising monolithic behemoth of a thing is a way to do it) makes the likes of UKIP a good option. I do worry about the SNP, but if Scots are stupid enough to vote for something so unsustainable that's their fault. If they become independent they will become a basket-case. And before you mention the Republic of Ireland, they are two very different cases.

Well better a politician who can be charismatic about something he clearl believes in, but doesn't play the game just for the media.

Livingstone, Blair, Reid, etc - all play the game for the camera but I wouldn't trust them further than I could throw them.

Yeah... I do miss them...
I recommend a read of their Manicfesto: http://www.omrlp.com/?page_id=64
Hilarious stuff!

Example:
Monster Raving Loony Party Manicfesto wrote:
We will issue a 99p coin to save on change.

The Official Monster Raving Loony Party will not join the single European currency. We will invite all Europeans countries to JOIN THE POUND.

Rich people should be taxed to pay for the printing of money, as they use most of it.

Tax credits will be paid to nice people. There will be a “total bastard” tax for everyone else.

I'd consider voting for them. I know a few people who feel the same. Does that make me racist scum?

Even if they were racist scum (and I think you've been listening to that limp-wristed twit Cameron a little too much) I'd rather they were running the country than some a***hole in Brussels with an expense account the size of Blair's salary, and whose grandfather could have been a Nazi who whiled away the hours gassing Jews and gays. Why did we fight that war?

Anyway, if the Conservatives got their act together I might vote for them. Unfortunately, that seems highly unlikely whilst they appear to be just an Eton-educated, house-trained version of Labour, and continue sucking up to Muslims and every other Johnny-come-lately.

As for Labour, I hear the latest is that we're going to be locked-up for driving through a red light.

Jeeezus...

So, what is it you don't like about the BNP? A reasoned reply, backed up with references to support your argument would be great!

Good.

I can't stand all these hypocritical bastards who are "tough on crime" except when it comes to their own motoring offences.

If you speed, hold a mobile phone whilst driving, or jump a red light (and that includes London f*****g cyclists - are you listening you self-centered dangerous bastards?) then you are more likely to kill or injure someone, and for that reason you SHOULD be jailed.

"Oooooooh, speed cameras MUST be painted bright yellow otherwise IT'S SO UNFAIR!"

Piss off, you shouldn't be speeding anyway.

The law is the law, it's not optional. Motoring is no exception.

I see you don't drive.

Speed limit signs are not infrequently missing or obscured. It's quite easy to drive past speed limit signs that are covered by vegetation on the near side, and by, say, a high-sided vehicle on the other. I know, because I've driven all over this miserable country and had it happen to me.

As for red lights, there are junctions where it is possible to see the lights that control traffic from a side road at right angles to where you car is positioned. Under certain circumstances it is possible to get confused by this.

Furthermore, drivers are human. They make mistakes. You cannot drive thirty thousand miles a year and not break a speed limit, or maybe mis-judge an amber light. It happens to everyone who drives.

And you'd send someone to prison for that? Saying "the law is the law" as you do is childish and simplistic to the extreme. I bet you don't even know a fraction of the legislation that governs your existence within the UK, yet you insist drivers be punished by such draconian measures!

People will only abide by the law as long as that law and the government that runs it is reasonable and is being enacted with the consent of the people. If the state goes nuts or fascist, I have no responsibility to the law. My loyalty lies with my friends, family and community. :)

No, that makes you powerless and disenfranchised. If you actually joined the party though it would suggest you agreed with its policies (very tightly worded to keep within the law, as per usual) and that you held racist views. And I don't like the BNP because, apart from being racist, they're socialist to the core.

I actually think thats BNP policy, I'll check the manifesto...

I'm quite happy for the BNP to exist, they serve a purpose, but I stand against almost everything they believe in.

Not exactly what I was after. I'm actually quite interested in why you think they are racist. If you could expand on that answer it would be interesting.

This the government which punishes speeding because you risk hurting or killing someone, and anyone who does actually kill or hurt someone get a pissy nonsense sentence.

The only reason they clamp down on driving offences is because its easy to do and brings in huge amounts of money for the treasury.

The legal system is a joke.

Because they are the new 'acceptable' face of the old National Front.

Plus if you look at their policies - they are racist. Repatriation or non-indigenous people, in other words they want to throw all the blacks, Muslims and Jews on a boat.
