Hello Michael Jackson is a black man gone white. he's the black people's dreams, of hoping that we white people would and will accept them if they did something like that.

I'm not racist.

nor am I a religous racist who hates anyone. I hate everyone equally.

Look, the black celebrities that people should be looking up to are Morgan Freeman, Samuel L Jackson, Noel Clarke, Don Warrington, Denzel Washington, Michael Clark Duncan, Beyonce Knowles, Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey and Halle Berry, amongst others. I think the worst "black" celebrities are Michael Jackson and OJ Simpson.

I don't deny you your equal oppurtunities hatred.

Should be more Aboriginal actors. Over here. I've only really seen Ernie Dingo. Those guys who did that "Ten Canoes" should be congratulated more....

... People were treating each other with respect on the Internet?

News to me. I've been 'netting since about 94ish and I think the obnoxious angry freaks have been around the whole time.

I think the internet probably does to allow some people to "open their mind" when they could not before. On the other hand you can't remove human frailties entirely. There are many people that want their biases reinforced that will simply go on as before, and since there are problem-ed souls on every side of every debate in every society there is plenty to reinforce those biases.

EDIT: I used the word every three times in that last sentence. 8O

I don't understand much of what's being said here, but I do know about grammar and spelling (I won the the spelling bee in Grade 2 on "baccalaureate"). When I'm in Thinking Mode, spelling and grammar are automatic with me. When I'm in Feeling Mode, I can't even do caps and proper spelling doesn't exist.

And so it seems to me that there might be a great many people with something worthwhile to say, but who may be unable to say it correctly. I don't want to take the chance that it might be something I'd want to know.

I first noticed this sort of thing when I found out that Leon Uris can't spell. Drives his editors nuts. His grammar's out the window too. (comma too?)
