You Brits are falling for the America is better scam. It only used to be better. The recent homeland security rules ARE breaking the Constitution. I personally see forcing people to be X-rayed where a stranger can see through their clothes is a form of sexual assault. But the machines were put into place whether or not citizens liked it or not. In 2002 I was frisked and had my butt touched by one of those airline pervs because I got up too quickly to be first in line in loading the plane. I appeared to eager so I got searched and I am like the meekest least likely to harm a soul kind of person. They also were giving the third degree to old people that could barely toddle through the metal detector. It sure ain't grandma I'm worried about blowing up the plane. I really don't think terrorists will go after planes again they will try something different that isn't being guarded.

I am terrified about flying again because they have said they will put anyone under suspicion that is sweating at the airport. I sweat like a horse in airports from having to bustle from one terminal to the next. Some of these US airports are like freaking cities they are so enormous. Then places like Sky Harbor the building can't be air conditioned very well just due to it being 125 degrees outside and the inside of the building is in the 80's so I sweat just waiting at the gate.

I went through same thing in Amsterdam - said I was acting suspiciously - started searching everything - then they wanted to do a strip search - my anxiety kicked in and I started up with all the stuff and threatening to sue them and all that - this went on for hour's with them brining in more people probably coz I was willing to defend myself before I would let anyone even try to strip me... finally they brought in a doctor that was at the airport... I would of hated it if no doctor was they since they would not phone the clinic I was with to explain my suspiciously acting...

it's nice to see other people taking interest in current events.. with that said, america is slowing losing it's rights. the government can check our mail without our consent and the fbi can listen in on phone conversations without you knowing
