Sounds a bit paranoid.

^^ So were you two living under a rock when NT society chose to deem all us aspies as apathetic psychopathic child killers who needed to be locked up? There's reason to fear mob mentality knowing how people behave.

No one's ever deemed me a psychotic child killer. Most NT's I've met don't bear us any ill will.

Maybe that's the way it is in Indiana.Where I live no one really cares how weird you are,as long as you are weird on your own property. The worst they will do is say "they've got a strange turn about them."

In my part of the country, the Pacific Northwest, weirdness can be a cherished trait. Remember, this is Twin Peaks country where David Lynch spent part of his childhood. On top of that, while Northern Exposure was set in Alaska, it was filmed in part here in Washington. 8)

^^^^Thats better than living in a region that's know for Winter's Bone and Krystal  ,oh,a new low budget slasher movie called Madison County, funny it's filmed in Johnson county
The cafe in the movie is the Oark General store,it has been on business since 1890,you can get great hamburgers there,it's a store and cafe. They used some locals in the film. There is the Arkansas stare, when strangers come into the room, everyone stops eating and looks.I think it unnerves the tourists  There is a scene like that in the movie.
