I had two pet white rats. They were very affectionate. Maybe the large rats could be pets or be used for working to sniff out explosives, etc.

I had one a long time ago. Extremely sweet and intelligent animal. Very clean as well he was always grooming himself. Problem is the life span is so short and I get too attached. :(

I have a friend who had once had two pet rats called Ben and Willard. I asked her if she named them for the two rat movies, and she swore she had never heard of those movies. :lol:

But as that took millions upon millions of years, I seriously doubt we're going to be put though a real life Food Of The Gods, including super-sized, carnivorous rats (overrunning scale model card board campers).
