So happy right now, but keep in mind that we still need full non-discrimination status for sexual orientation. That's the next step in the fight.

God needs to revise the bible, find some new prophets. The work is no longer appropriate.

*Every* law in some way is "controlling" the actions of another. You know, like law's against murder, or laws that control how the owner of a business treats his/her employees...

In the instance of gay marriage, one might argue that "it doesn't hurt anyone" so it shouldn't be prevented. I don't think we will know until 30-50 years from now how society will be affected by all these changes.

I think's fantastic. I was surprised, though, when a buddy of mine thought it would spell doom for the entire universe. I usually agree with his viewpoints on politics, and we believe similarly on political issues, although he is more of an alarmist than I am. But he seemed to think this would result in the government being able to invade into every aspect of every person's life in the nation and turn us all into mind-controlled zombies.

One of my Facebook friends just posted a snapshot of tweets from angry American bigots threatening to move to Canada. I wonder if anyone will tell them before they pack up and relocate?
