Fnord, you have to be ready for anything. The officer who did the report just said he doesn't yet know if it is terrorism. They're calling it now "domestic terrorism" on the news.

They're locking down most of the city. If something else happens in another area, what choice is there but to do Marshall Law since no one has been apprehended?

Business as usual, with all police shifts on active duty (12 hours on, 12 hours off). Review transportation system video footage. Mobilize the National Guard and military reserves. Review security camera video footage. Wait for someone to claim responsibility. Put out an APB with a description of the vehicle and the shooters. Question all witnesses and survivors. Search all vehicles still on site for IEDs. Search all rooms on site for IEDs and hidden shooters. REVIEW THE FACTS.

confirmed so far:

3 heavily armed shooters (could be more).
14 dead and 14 known to be wounded.

The city is on lock down in a state of emergency.

Obama has already addressed the press and some are unhappy about his push for gun control.

I wonder if gun and ammunition sales will skyrocket today and tomorrow, like they normally do after a mass shooting.

Terrorists perpetrate violence in order to promote some political cause or pressure politicians toward some particular goal.

What kind of terrorists would target developmentally disabled people?

I don't have cable anymore. I listen to the radio and right now they are updating about a car chase happening on CNN. Did Obama say this wasn't a terrorist attack then?

He said it was another tragic mass shooting and he has seen far too many of them in his presidency

He says he'd like to see something done and gun control, but admits there isn't enough votes in congress and in most states to do anything.

He doesn't have enough evidence to declare it anything other than a tragedy.

I watched this and this isn't an address to the nation. So he really hasn't said anything yet.

What do you want him to say, that he hasn't already said?

Also they believe they have found the car and house where the shooters are at.
