I certainly hope you're not serious about nothing to show coming from some sort of experience in government. But certainly, a lot worse could come from someone coming into the highest office without government experience.

Just look at Jimmy Carter's presidency. He may have been an effective Governor in Georgia, and a brilliant nuclear Physicist and Naval Officer, but he couldn't lead this country out of a paper bag, no thanks to Congress.

I had a boss when I was delivering for Pizza Hut years ago that told me that the best thing to happen to this country would be to elect a despot like Trump, since maybe it would wake ups lot of people in this country on what freedoms we lost. This guy spent 2 tours in 'Nam in a command position in Army Communications and Army Intelligence (if there is anything that's an oxymoron, it's Army Intelligence), so he got to see it up close and personal.

I think Carter was just too honest, too Christian, to be an effective President.

If you look really closely, he's not as clean cut as he makes himself out to be. Still, I prefer him over Ronny Ray-gun zap, the cl!t-tongues, the shrubs, Nobama, the tRump, or any other candidate, except maybe Sanders, and even then I don't quite trust Sanders.

Actually...he wasn't a Physicist of any type, he only had a BSc and non-credit course in how to operate a plant.

"Carter graduated 60th out of 820 midshipmen in the class of 1946 with a Bachelor of Science degree and was commissioned as an Ensign.......In March 1953 he began nuclear power school, a six-month non-credit course covering nuclear power plant operation..."
