NYT: Iowa Entrance Polls

Women: 53 Clinton, 42 Sanders
Men: 44 Clinton, 50 Sanders

17-29: 14 Clinton, 84 Sanders
30-44: 37 Clinton, 58 Sanders
...

So the gender vote seems to lean towards same gender, but the young vote seems to be for Sanders. May or may not be an indicator of things to come.

Not likely Iowa, thankfully doesn't reflect the country in trends.

Iowa had the lowest turn out in recent memory for the Democrats, much lower than 2008.
Iowa had the highest turn out ever for the GOP.

New Hampshire is an OPEN PRIMARY state, as in anyone can choose their ballot and vote.
43% of electorate in NH is unaffiliated.
Unaffiliated and Independent voters can vote in the primary, though they have to pick one party ballet.

Nearly every state is a primary state except Iowa, which makes that much harder for an outsider to win.
