I'd get a gun, but I don't trust myself with one.
I've had this view about myself for a long time. The government fearing side of me wants to do it while I still can. But there remains a fair chance in a moment of depair I may use it on myself. Or I may use it if I had one and someone came to my door to try and confiscate it unjustly.
You can kill yourself with a bottle of aspirin. That last sentence is why you would have one.
I hear you. But I don't think you fully get it with me. It is a real danger. As someone who's contemplated suicide, I must have said "I"m so glad I decided to never get a gun" many times. To me it just seems so easy and it's all a once. Even if I, in a moment of despair, took a bottle of pills, I'd have a little time to have the reality hit me, and maybe get to a hospital in time before I drift off.
It bothers me about myself. In my heart, I'd love to own guns. I've been on the governmental distrust thing long before this become a trend. I been telling people for 15 years what's been coming and people thought I was a nut job. Which I am. But that isn't why. Many of those same people are now telling me certain things like the are informing me. If I had the resources, I'd be one of these types to build an underground bunker in the middle of nowhere, load it up with supplies, guns, and ammo. And say "Come get me".
