I have no issues with either Mississippi or New Jersey. Phoenix Az, OTOH is hell.

in his mind he wanted hippies to be saved as well. in that respect his heart was in the right place as opposed to those conservative churches of that period that were content with the thought of hippies remaining unsaved and burning in hell forever. [nowadays those same churches are content with LGBT and the poor burning in hell forever.]

Jack Chick embodied everything that was thoroughly misguided, hateful and goofy about Evangelical Protestantism (and really most religion in general), but I'll be literally damned if his tracts didn't make for amusing reading. I never actually came across a Chick Tract in real life, though I used to read quite a few on his website for sick kicks. How else were we to know that Dungeons & Dragons was a binding indoctrination into Satanism? Or that all rock music was a gateway to vampirism and homosexuality? Or that all the world's problems were caused by Jews and Catholics? [sarcasm, of course]

Being a Christian myself (albeit one that's on the opposite side of the spectrum), I certainly don't "celebrate" his death, but only wish condolences to his family and hope that right now he's somewhere that's a lot more loving and accepting than he was.
