Malcom Turnbull, you say ? Now there's a coincidence... I have been reading or re-reading (or re-text-to-speeching) some of The Messiah's letters and one of them is about Malcom Turnbull the 'turncoat' here...

~ Malcolm Turnbull - the 'turncoat' ~
(Hyper-linked... click on the title above this sentence)

Donald Trump has attacked the Australian government over a deal it made with the previous Obama administration. He has branded a refugee deal with the country as "dumb", days after reportedly holding a heated conversation with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

During a phone conversation on Saturday, Mr Trump reportedly told his Australian counterpart that he had spoken with four other world leaders that day and that “This was the worst call by far.”

The president, who blasted the Australian leader over a refugee deal, abruptly ended Saturday's call (hanging up), which was expected to last an hour, after just 25 minutes.
“This is the worst deal ever,” Mr Trump said, according to the Washington Post. Mr Trump complained he was “going to get killed” politically and accused Australia of seeking to export the “next Boston bombers.”

Harsh!

It is not our fault that there are refugees coming to us, but we really should be handling them ourselves, not giving them to PNG or the US. That said, there are ways to handle diplomacy and there are ways not to. Trump could've politely said 'no thanks Mal.' It's like if my mum asked me around to dinner and I didn't like the potatoes and she said 'how are the potatoes?' and I answered 'f**ing disgusting.' What concerns me most though is that a private phone call between the leaders of 2 countries was leaked. I don't know the full story but I assume the refugee resettlement was a trade for something else?

Oh and nobody wants Pauline Hanson in charge of anything. She is like the Greens and other independents like Xenophon, Katter, Lambie etc. OK so they are important to "keep the bastards honest" but they probably shouldn't be running the shop. Imagine if Clive Palmer became the PM a few years ago.

And Amen to the person who quoted Martin Luther King. If you break the law, you should be punished, doesn't matter who you are.

unless, of course, the law is unjust, and you are merely doing your civic duty to protest unjust and unfair laws...

Definitely. The world is more complex than than my statement, I know. You can go into who makes the law and who has the right to do so etc. Then you can go into what is the absolute right and wrong anyway, and it gets too complex and i don't know the answers (I'll go back to reading Judge Dredd now  )

Because we have a 92% white population who want to keep our society a whiter shade of pale (apologies to Procul Harum)

We should bring back the white Australia Policy things were better then, we didn't have African thugs car jacking and invading peoples homes, Only this morning a woman got attacked by these vile scum.

So you're saying that it will be better when you only have to worry about gangs of white people who are doing the car jackings, home invasions, muggins and the like then?

Yes it's funny in the "multicultural hell" I'm supposed to be living in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne the three times I've been robbed have all involved my fellow whites. In one case a female. I'm also counting the number of times I've had a verbal altercation with a member of the public and yep! whites again!

My concern at the moment is with Cory Bernardi

Ah, but that's different. The perpetrators were white, a better class of criminal!
(As we are all Aspies, I want to assure you I'm just being sarcastic.)

The majority of crimes where I live are by white people too (and I often know them/went to school with them etc). But I live in rural Tasmania...yes...rural even for Tasmania...my friend's Italian grandma felt like she was going to be attacked just because she walked down a street and spoke with an Italian accent.

OH and don't get me started on Cory...

Yeah I guess looking at things objectively it's just the law of numbers, the fact that I live in a very mixed neighborhood, however, the right wingers would expect me to carry a gun or something

It's weird because Tasmanians are the nicest people I've met! love going there for holidays. Suppose they have fairly fine tuned "Vic radars"

Yes, sadly enough, I know that's true.

There's a communicable face cancer, apparently they are only of two animals in the world that are susceptible to this...
