Good on you. It's like some post traumatic stress, where you are subjected to a few minutes of upset, and can dwell on it, for so much longer.

My memory is photographic, the more I am calm. So, I would like for people to understand that subject matter, of whatever kind, goes into a kind of indelible, permanent record.

People used to write uplifting things, with calligraphy and perfume. One of my childhood books had a fragrant violet, which I contrast, against highly-politicized opinion pieces, with images of rotting food, in the corner. It's legitimately unpleasant, has no socially redeeming value. So much better to starve the bad and feed the good.

I hate to admit it but agree with raptor

Humans need to adapt to the new social platform of interaction and (like face to face) toughen up their minds.

Anonymity = cowardice so trolls only get their power if they make you believe that what they post has impact

Yes I agree with this...but what I mean't is online users need to toughen up their coping skills

Try this, CyberD. The court jester provides a needed outlet by mocking everyone and performing disgusting circus geek stunts. Today, everyone can have a personal army of court jesters. Whether they want it or not.

There is no debate about "Have the trolls gone to the internet?" that one is in-your-face self evident. :lol:
