I find everything about the Climate Change situation frustrating because whenever I dive in deep to do serious research I find nothing but conflicting reports. Usually there are conflicting reports of something (pretty much any political issue nowadays) on the surface, but if you take the time to do real due diligence you will come to either the answer or at least information supporting something over something else. For whatever reason, with Climate Change all I'm able to find is a bunch of information that contradicts all the other information- like all of it contradicting everything else- and I can't even come away with more of an understanding or opinion than when I started. I have no idea how I feel about any of it or where I stand. Its annoying.

The fact that most years in the 2000's have featured record-high, or near record-high global temperatures is a strong indication that climate change is occurring.

Also: read up on the receding Northern Hemisphere polar ice cap---about how it's consistently shrunk over the past few decades. Compare the 2000's with the 1970's.

There are many cross-currents in the research, of course. Many contradictions.

But....the simple stated above makes the case for climate change--whether it's man-made or just normal climatic variation is another matter.

This is great for taxpayers and only bad for companies (and the individuals complaining) who was going to benefit from government contracts. Companies like GE, Telsa or profit from exchanging carbon credits on the stock market (Goldman Sachs)...

Besides, we never officially agreed to Paris Accord. Obama only decided we would, but never had the balls to bring the treaty to Congress to have it ratified and into law.

Obama agreed to follow the protocols, as if we had signed it.

Trump disagreed to follow the protocols, as we never signed it (basically leaving it up to the cities and corporations, if it makes sense).

In summary:

The cliche "Politics makes strange bedfellows" has truth to it.

Pretty hilarious to hear progressives praising the wisdom of mega business, state, and local governments as the solution to an out of control federal government.
