NBC just reported that the shooter was retired, and was already dead, when the police opened the door (indicating, seemingly, that he shot himself); they also said that he loved Vegas, was a frequent visitor, and a gambler----he also owned 2 aircraft.

Marilou Danley is Asian, I want to say Filipino.

Las Vegas sheriff just reported: "Over 400 injuries / over 50 deaths".

The sheriff just said "in excess of 10 weapons"----and, that they located the girlfriend, out of the country, that she was NOT with him, when he checked-in, and that it doesn't appear that she had anything to do with it.

She is believed to not be involved now, he only had her ID. She is currently out of the country.

...This is the first time, hat I can think of anyhow, that a crazy shooter has gone for sitting ducks in a mass gathering - IT WILL NOT BE THE LAST.
I remember the summer after Columbine happened, people called it the " Summer of Hate"...every f*****g teenage bozo with a gun thought they'd go out with a bang and get in the headlines . They did.

Terrible,just terrible.
I also would like to add that the pics of dead bodies are not appropriate on this site.Some people here are very sensitive to that sort of thing.People don't need other sad images to add to the huge amount already stored in their mind.You are dealing with a very visual community here.
Secondly,I don't know if there are vets here that have seen active duty,not something anyone with PTS wants to see either.
