Irony is Obama had nothing to do with it.

Trump calls off trip to London, blaming Obama for Bush embassy decision
Quote:
The problem with that explanation is that Trump's tweet misrepresented the history of the U.S. Embassy move. According to the State Department and the U.S. Embassy itself, it was the administration of President George W. Bush — not Obama — that decided to build a new embassy in 2006 and chose the new location in 2008.

And the billion-dollar price tag is typical of an embassy construction of that size. Officials also said that it was financed entirely by the sale of other U.S. property in England — not new taxpayer money. It opens to the public on Jan. 16

Ooops

For Trump and Trumpanzees, everything is Obama's fault.

That is actually the most believable reason I've yet heard.

Renewing the Patriot act? Never happened. Invading Libya without congressional approval? Republicans did it! Woo!

Trust me, I know Barack was hardly perfect. Just better than the orange buffoon in the White House today.

I know that Obama is better than Trump.

Of course, Americans need to follow the anti-corruption plan put forward by represent.us.

https://represent.us/

If America does not listen to represent.us, the Democratic Party will continue to create fake "liberals".

That's why we shouldn't be too nice to Obama. If we try to bring back Obama, that will just perpetuate the vicious cycle of fake politics.

Anti-corruption legislation will help us get a real liberal in the White House.

I can't disagree with getting a real liberal in the White House.

The US had 2 chances to elect Ron Paul and failed miserably.

Trump most likely cancelled his trip because more bad press and a massive demonstration against him is the last thing he needs with the Russia investigation over his head and his approval ratings being so low.

But if he went over there and said we kicked you out in the 1700s, kept you out in the 1800s and bailed your sorry asses out in the 1900s his base would a massive simultaneous orgasm. :D

That's not surprising as, I had read that it was not going to be a red-carpet rollout visit rather a working visit as such.As well, the royal family simply wishes not to be associated with the jackass as, it would be perceived in a negative manner. Simply put they were not going to give him the royal treatment he became upset like a little kid and decided to go back home.

I agree. I don't like him, but it's not as if we haven't hosted worse.

Yes, I agree as, I recall how Augusto Pinochet was honored by Thatcher. That might seem like old news but, that sticks out in my mind.

Backfired when he was held because Spain wanted to extradite him.
