Who would have though that eating alkylbenzenesulfonates and polyvinylalcohols (PVA's) would taste so good (yum yum

Just let them live this way, that will alleviate the effects that idiocracy gene pool has on our civil society thanks to Darwinian natural selection. I will have no sympathy for any of these credulous people if they develop any respiratory aliments for taking part in these "social" media trends whether it takes your life or not, and I bet us aspies and HFA autists are far less likely to succumb to this "forbidden fruit" trend by taking it literally.

I mentioned to a coworker who always wore a helmet when commuting to work on his motorcycle that "I guess that you're not one of those anti-helmet law kinda bikers". Was surprised when he replied "Oh I am totally against helmet laws too.". He went on to explain "get rid of helmet laws and all of the folks who are dumb enough to not wear helmets when riding motorcycles will get killed off, and it will eliminate the gene for stupidity in the human race!"

I guess that that's one way of looking at it.

Nah, because not all carriers of that gene are bikers. Joke I heard - a grim one - what do first responders call bikers who hate helmet laws? Organ donors. SMH.

One more mention of Tide Pods, and my brain will melt from second-hand stupidity poisoning. This unbelievable idiocy makes me want to lie down for a decade or two.

Well, I have a 10 year old and an adventurous 8 year old. Both never even considered going under the sink to sample the invitingly coloured cleaning fluids or detergents there. I do wonder how stupid you have to be to try these things? My kids just asked if these things were harmful and accepted it when we told them they were. Some people, unfortunately, are too stupid to live. Perhaps if they do survive, they become PE teachers or something?

From the article:

Quote:
After a bizarre meme encouraging adults to eat laundry detergent pods took the internet by storm last week, doctors and laundry detergent manufacturers are begging Americans to please stop eating laundry pods.

They should be begging them to eat the damn things in hopes that it will help chlorinate the gene pool.
Stupidity should be deadly or at least hurt.

I'm really not liking the callous, eugenicist language in this thread.

Why, do you eat laundry detergent pods? If not then it shouldn't be a problem...

Well if wearing helmets was not recommended then people new to motorcycles like younger people might end up being ignorant about the dangers of not wearing one. Wouldn't really be responsible of those responsible for giving motorcycle licences to skip the part about why you wear a helmet.

I don't like the eugenics talk either, does that mean I eat laundry detergent pods?

Begging or encouraging people to poison themselves seems pretty stupid to me.
