Of the two choices it would have to be Norway for me.

Most likely... Wasn’t long ago he was throwing racial slurs out towards white people. So his qeastioning is odd.

Racism against whites is not only acceptable but encouraged.
That aside, his attempts to anger people only amuse me.
I say let him keep at it so we can see just how deep the rabbit hole is.

Now why would white folks be angry? are we a sensitive lot? just trying to get people to think beyond the alt-right box

the question seems to be an attempt at reigniting more debate on the "s**thole affair".

anyway, i like australia where i live.
i have a house worth nearly a million dollars and am getting disability payments of $1,100 (aud) per fortnight.
my rates work out to be $24 per week, so that is the cost of living in my house.
australian recipients of the disability pension are still eligible if they relocate overseas.

so to answer with respect to the 2 options.....

if i sold my house here and moved to norway, i would probably only be able to afford a modest apartment rather than a proper free standing house with big sunny yards like i have now.

the weather is bleak in norway. very cold most of the time and gloomy. i don't like the never ending pine forests. looks too crowded with trees and uninviting to walk through.
in our pine forests down here, there is always a thick carpet of pine needles on the ground which prevent grass from growing and it's not scenic because you cant see through the trees to the distance.

if i sold up and went to haiti i could live like a king with my money and income.
i could have maids and staff and a huge house on lots of land in a more pleasant climate with more pleasant scenery.
but i would always be scared that i would be conspicuous because of my relative wealth and crime would target me.
it's the crime that most bothers me.
and also the prevalence or more tropical diseases like malaria etc.

i would also not like to live in the USA because of the police behavior. we see episodes of "cops" (you know the show that has the theme "bad boys") and they cuff you and manhandle you to the ground and swarm you if you act in anyway peculiar to them.
no thanks. and that blind american pitbull terrier mentality that so many have there. it is difficult to believe that these transparent money grubbing evangelists have such flocks of believers feinting in awe and reaching for their wallets.

australians are a bit more rational in a way.

so i guess on the balance....norway (simply to answer the poll).

I sat next to a Norwegian on a flight back to Australia from Asia. Curiously he hated his homeland - said it was gloomy and grey all the time. Preferred the sunshine and lifestyle in Australia, heck! he might even like sunny Haiti

Personally speaking Norway is actually a beautiful country so I think too much of a good thing! probably the long winters

LOL! yep! I've been around the world
A couple of times or maybe more
I've seen the sights, I've had delights
On every foreign shore
But when my mates all ask me
The place that I adore
I tell them right away
Give me a home among the gumtrees
With lots of plum trees
A sheep or two, a k-kangaroo
A clothesline out the back
Verandah out the front
And an old rocking chair
You can see me in the kitchen
Cooking up a roast
Or Vegemite on toast
Just you and me, a cup of tea
And later on, we'll settle down
And go out on the porch
And watch the possums play
There's a Safeways up the corner
And a Woolies down the street
And a brand new place they've opened up

i am not sure of the motive behind your post, but i trust it is in good nature.
are they the lyrics from the show "burkes back yard"?
well even he's now embroiled in sex scandals so ....heh..

it seemed to me on a number of occasions that you were "dissing" australia at the expense of your need to be accepted by americans.
i kind of felt you were a bit of a traitor to australia.
the other night you said "we australians are pretty piss poor at spelling"
i kind of took offense.
sorry for my reply that was deleted.

but yeah, australia is the place for me.

huh? well that's news to me?? I'm strongly into conservation and see myself as a guardian of this country, the traitors are the Libs and their conservative scummy mates the national party who are selling out Australia to foreign mining companies destroying our natural resources

no you weren't it was an extension of the "resort/retort" affair and you tried to be witty by extenuating your support for the kraigchauer fellow.
there is no evidence that it was self deprecating in my mind.
anyway, swords back in scabbards for now.
