I think there is scope for something positive to come out of this march. However I recall the last march by women protesting against Trump was turned into a distorted tweet by Trump claiming the women were actually celebrating 1 yr of him being in office. Translation: I have very low expectations of Trump doing anything constructive

Trump isn't going to do F all constructive.. I think we agree on that.

It won't be until him & his crime family and friends have been booted by the feds and the American people that things can begin to change for the better.

I agree with Blabs

At the end of the day the problem started in the first place because middle class white Americans temporarily had a brain freeze and figured that a billionaire shoddy business man and reality TV actor could be POTUS because of gimmicky slogans...

Trump is who he is...I don't think he ever hid that from the dumbf***s who voted for him...

~1/3rd of Americans support him. That's not critical mass. More like death throes in terms of support numbers.

The fact that a good percentage of 2nd Amendment supporters are also convinced that “the South will rise again” could be something to consider.

In my opinion, the greatest thing to ever come out of the American south was jazz music. How come so few southerners see jazz as an important part of southern heritage?

Don't answer that. We all know the answer.

Disagree. That's what happens when you're so nervous about public speaking but you persist because you're passionate about the topic & accept the temporary personal discomfort of being nauseous for the greater good of getting your message out. Good for her for speaking no matter what, and then carrying on with conviction after vomiting vs retreating in embarrassment.

I'd be nauseous to in a crowd like that, especially if it was hot out.

Why, not? A large number of politicians are pushing to raise the age to purchase a firearm to 21, including our president. So if we can't trust a young adult to purchase alcohol or a firearm, we shouldn't trust them to vote. Maybe we should reevaluate when one legally becomes an adult?

a critical mass in terms of key gerrymandered districts swung red. a critical mass in terms of electoral votes in key states.

No one has the Constitutional Right to a public education, but everyone has the Constitutional Right to bear arms. What is the legal basis to abridge a Constitutional Right for a mere tax payer funded service not derived from a Right? The First Amendment in contrast entails almost no limitation on speech, why the different treatment for arms? Would you be so eager to have your speech abridged? Both the 1st and 2nd Amendments protect us from tyrannical government and any restriction on these Rights limits our freedom and defense against a far more menacing threat. For those who want to minimize the likelihood that their children become victims of gun violence in school, enroll them in private school or home school them, because your desire for school safety is an inferior claim to a Constitutional Right.

18 year olds were being sent to fight and die in Vietnam, but couldn't vote till age 21. So the voting age was lowered to 18.
