Do you mean the KKK exists in Canada? I know Alberta is full of what we Yanks call Rednecks, but that's still shocking to me if true.
Yes, the KKK exists in Canada.. it has for nearly a century, and it's presence is strongest in Alberta where all the rich white cowboy rednecks live.
Its shocking to me not because the idea of Canadian racists is shocking to me, but because of the origin and original reasons for the KKK--namely that whites in the post Civil War South wanted to preserve their social order by whatever means. How and why did this cancer spread so far from the Ole South is what I'd like to know.
The Canadian/American border is just an imaginary line drawn on a map. Racist ideologies know no borders.

He's not Hillary, you're right, but that's a shame, too.

The Democratic and Republican US parties are now very different from the way they were in the 1860s. You would know this if you knew anything about US politics. Yes, the Dems were at one point the party of the Ole South, the KKK, the post Civil War "Solid South" and etc. That changed with the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, and when it did old school Southern Dems like Jessie Helms and Strom Thrumond switched to the Republicans, who by then had strayed very far from their roots as the anti slavery party of Lincoln. Lincoln would be embarrassed and ashamed that Donald Trump and his supporters now call themselves Republicans.
Yeah, Hillary sucks as a human being, but shes still a far site better than the blustering Fool King Trump.

The Republicans were indeed the party of Lincoln and Douglas...back in the day. That day is past, and the conservative Confederate flag waving "Christian" white racists are all Republicans now. I've also heard the hypothesis that the Apostle Paul was one of us, if you take my meaning (and I don't mean an Aspie). I think it makes sense in light of the 'thorn in his flesh' and 'continual sin' that he complained of in the Epistles. If he was a homosexual Jew, raised to view homosexuality as a sin, and then lived in the Ancient Roman Empire, where most Romans had no problem with it whatsoever, it must have been very hard for him.
