I detest Trump. I detest Clinton (both of them). I detest Obama. But you can bet that when they pass away, I won't be spewing garbage like that anywhere. Not on the internet. Not in person. They will get the very same respect from me then as George Herbert Walker Bush is getting from me now.

The people who know and love me respect me, so I completely disagree with your opinion. But of course, you are entitled to it.

You conduct your life as you see fit, and I'll conduct mine as I see fit. In my opinion, bad people do not deserve my respect, even after they've passed. Especially when their actions in life effected so many people in negative and horrific ways.

I will never honor or respect men who don't deserve it. If Obama died tomorrow, he would get no respect from me, either. I do not honor, nor respect war criminals.

As a U.S. Navy veteran, myself, I must say his military service was commendable.

I salute you, sir----may you rest, with your sweet wife and daughter, in peace.

My condolences to his family.

just a reminder that while public figures are open to criticism due to the nature of their roles (as per the rules, though it may be better said in another thread) - this thread will be locked if it turns into a conflict between members themselves. so let's try to avoid crossing that line, thanks!
