Bernie has actually released his taxes just recently.

Not only might Trump be revealed to be a tax cheat if his taxes are released, but possibly it'll show what we've suspected for some time: that he's not anywhere close to being a billionaire. Or just maybe, Trump's relationship with Russia will have light shown on it.

I'm thinking most federal agencies are too scared of this administration to do that.

They didn't seem too scared to probe this administration for over two years.

Is the idea that they were investigating him for years even though if they found something they would be too afraid to do anything about it?

Yeah, probably. Considering what Cohen detailed about Trump's legal practices, auditors & the IRS as a whole would be right to be afraid of Trump. The president operates outside the law, so did the last four at least. I'm sorry to say this but you just don't know how to smell a tax cheat. One dead giveaway is that Trump ties everything up in real estate assets & extravagant spending. People who keep their wealth by taking others' usually do so to spend as much as they can.

Trump's game of deny/counter-accuse is tailored to extremist attitudes. If I were a tax auditor, I would be concerned about death threats.
