Question: Why is the U.S. media openly sympathetic and supportive of the Maduro regime? I'm going to assume this would be the case for the worldwide media as well.

i dunno what media you're watching/hearing/reading, but from my neck of the woods on the nightly propaganda, they are making maduro out to be roughly equivalent to some african tin pot.

Venezuela should be run by Venezuela. I don't care if they're run by Maduro, Guido, or Mickey Mouse.

Naturally, I consider the republican concepts of "legitimacy" to be dubious at best.

Either way, it should be Venezuela, not the US or Russia that determines who runs Venezuela.
