I'm too young to remember those. But, I think police presence at every theater in the country for the weekend if anything was designed to scare off moviegoers, rather than build hype for the movie.

I saw this film in theaters two days ago. Everything was fine. There is nothing to worry about. Ignore the media hysteria.

Billy Graham warned the Devil was in the very film strip The Exorcist was recorded on back in those days.
