I've encountered both.
Any time I was called a redneck, hillbilly, or a hick, or accused of being a racist simply because of the region I was born in. I believe that is an example of white-shaming.
As for white privilage, anytime I was brought to a crisis center the cops who took me there were always super nice to me. I think we all know why that is... if my skin were darker they wouldn't have been as friendly towards me.
I was also once called a white supremacist by a bunch of weeaboos on the internet simply because I did not hate a Japanese video game that had American characters in it (Siren Blood Curse).
That is a prime example of white shaming imho.
Oh and I was once called an anti-semite just because I said I didn't like the way Israel treats the Palestinians.
