All the same, it's still a strong message to the democrats that if they are framing Trump, they might want to abandon that course of action, and remove him the old fashioned way by producing a canidate who will win the next presidential election.

Let me guess. "Framing Trump" is exactly what you think the Democrats are doing, so you're with the guy mentioned in the OP.

I was thinking of putting the word "if" in my post in bold caps because I anticipated such a response.

I would have to be narrow minded to not consider it a possibility.

So if the Democrats are "framing" Trump, does that make violence OK? Not like, the Republicans simply voting not guilty in a Senate trial, and making your case to the public? Do you have to go there with breaking out the guns and violent threats? Also, even if the "framing" succeeded, you would still have President Pence, and a chance to make your case to the public. There just is no justification for violent threats. Impeachment is both a legitimate, and--according to the Founders--political process. Impeachment is not a coup, but Congress exercising its judgment in accordance with the Constitution.

It doesn't make violence ok. It means that IF they are up to no good, they are playing with fire.

And no that's not me making some kind of proclamation as a trump supporter or a republican or a conservative - of which I consider myself none of those things. It's an outside observer's aprisal regarding the current state of affairs.

The sad thing about all civil wars is that the neutralists who refuse to pick a side are always the first ones to be killed.

Democrats need to show proof.

Right now, there is none.

Yesterday, they said the aid to Ukraine wasn't held up until 1 month *after* the phone call.

Democrats need to do a better job of tieing the call to this aid.

BS. You are a Trump supporter. You are not outside this. And I would say that with you being a Trump supporter, helping to pass along threats of violence by other Trump supporters, is you making threats of violence yourself. Pretending to be just an "outsider" making an "aprisal" in this situation is disingenuous.

We seriously need to quit letting Trump get to us.

TRUMP fills arenas will thousands of people cheering him, carrying his banners.

These people are passionate about him.

So, impeachment is a direct attack on them.

The question is:

WHY are they so passionate about him?

I'm always leery of people who attract "passionate" followers.

I mean in a political sense. I should have specified that.

I don't go GAGA over LADY GAGA, by the way.

The irony in that statement is that Trump was also a celebutant. I think these can be very dangerous people under the wrong circumstances.

Good thing I know how to use a bat. No one is dragging me from the safety of my home.
