Oh and lets not forget him abandoning our allies The Kurds to be slaughtered by the Turkish army (yet another dictatorship he seems to be in favor of!) Or trying to cancel thousands foodstamps for Americans and making it harder to obtain them.

The ONLY good I can think of that Trump has done is trying to stand up to China, but his way of going about it is mostly like going to hurt us more than it will China in the long run!

I would say all this is mostly moot, anyway

Unless 22 Republicans and 1 independent (and all Democrats) vote for conviction, Trump won't be convicted by the Senate. There has to be 67 total votes for conviction, if all 100 members of the Senate vote. If only 99 vote, 66 would have to vote for conviction.

Unless some sort of great, great revelation comes to the forefront, there is virtually no possibility that this will happen.

In other words unless the completely unexpected happens this is virtue signaling on steroids.

While I don't know if the Ukrainian situation alone warrants removal in a perfect world the totality of his behavior in office warranted removal by the 25th amendment. We are not in a perfect world, in the world we live in where the republicans won't convict him if he shoots people on 5th avenue this is waste of taxpayers money that increases his chances for reelection. Putting on my tinfoil hat maybe the Democrats want him reelected. His presidency has been great for their fundraising.
