Now, "Space Force"----get us the f**k to Mars!

If it really got us into space, that would be a good thing. Many useful things started out with military research and applications.

But $40 million does seem kind of puny.

Oh, that's just for the peanuts? I thought it was for the whole program.

To appropriate $40 million dollars for a program that demands at least 40 BILLION seems like sort of a mockery to me.

^^^HAHA took me a while to get that like all things. IOW it [space farce] is as counterfeit as its creator. figures. besides, since at least the late 40s many insiders have hinted that there already has been a black-budget-funded space force that is REAL. this one is strictly cosmetic.

This is like giving someone a computer with a 40 Megabyte hard drive-----in 2020!

The MINIMUM for a viable computer circa 2020 is about 500 GIGAbytes of hard drive.

$40 million dollars would have been an insult even in the late 40's.

It's like he wants to create a Boy Scout Space Force (not to insult the Boy Scouts!) He wants to play at getting people in space.

This is more an "appropriate" appropriation for the creation of a nationwide Boy Scout troop devoted to learning about space travel. A nice thing, yes....but not something which would cause a rocket to get off the ground.

That would take at least a TRILLION dollars......
