As far as the first half of your first sentence is concerned... it certainly seems that way.
How many times do I have to tell people in order to get it through their thick skulls? BOTH PARTIES ARE CORRUPT BEYOND ALL REASON!! ! THEY ARE, AND HAVE BEEN, FOR QUITE SOME TIME, DIFFERENT SIDES OF THE SAME COIN!
I'm sure they are, but one tends to be worse than the other.

Maybe not Trump supporters, but definitely Trump defenders.
If someone was saying what sounded like a lot of baloney to me about whoever, I would treat it as such. But of course the inevitable problem with that is the "why are you defending him?!" routine would emerge. But it's not I'm that I am defending him or that I like him, I just don't agree with what is being said about him.
How does one disagree with objective reality unless, perhaps, they are delusional?

Goldfish brings up a good point. What's mistaken when Trump's been criticized?
I don't know off hand. I form an opinion on whatever is being said on a case by case basis. What I do know offhand is that from the very beginning he was being called the worst president in history who needed to be impeached - before he even took office. I also know a lot of what is said about him has been said about other presidents. I know that many things people are outraged about with the trump administration, existed before the trump administration. Stuff like that. I just see certain things differently is all. But I'm perfectly willing to accept that I might be wrong. I probably come off as being more dogmatic than I really am.
Sure, plenty of Trump's critics had called him the worst President in history, and had called for his impeachment even before he had taken office. But that had only been because he had made no secret of inciting racism (birtherism, and calling Latino illegals murderers, rapists, and drug dealers, just for starters), as well as calling on Russia to expose Clinton, changing the Anti-Russian message at the RNC convention to Pro-Russian, and then there's his record of dirty business practices. None of these charges came out of the blue.
The biggest thing missing from your list is that trump is a totally sleazy greaseball slimy low class crass rude af racist chauvinistic a**hole.
My best guess is that EzraS autism impairs his ability to detect trump’s less than socially acceptable behaviour so he just can’t see it.
If there’s another explanation, I’m all ears.
