Texas church shooting

According to his sister, he had an extensive mental history, was off and on homeless, and Sunday was the anniversary of his brother’s suicide.

He had attended services there a few times before, according to members, therefore knew that armed security was present.

This may have been a form of ‘suicide by cop’.

I do not understand being in that much pain and not reaching out for help.....
I do not understand killing others, and causing such loss and misery to their loved ones........

Apparently you're having a vocabulary issue.

The word "antisemitism" means "hatred of Jews [specifically]". The term does not mean "hatred in general". The later is apparently what you wrongly thought the word meant.

If you said "it could have been a personal matter, and not a hate crime", or something like that ' your post would have made perfect sense (and you could be right). But the way you said it didn't make sense because why would a guy who "hates Jews specifically" express that hatred by murdering a bunch of Gentile Christians in a church?

Thanks for clarifying that for me. I have heard others use the word antisemetism in the more general sense, so I assumed it was safe for me to use it the same.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people will half-read a headline and then immediately jump to their own false conclusions.

Homeless man, Kinnunen. Known to the pastor, who had helped him in the past... He has a few ex-wives who have been quoted as saying he was 'crazy and violent.' But, the last one said she never knew he was THAT crazy.

Jack Wilson was the church member who took him down, he had helped train some of the congregants too. Took a long shot with a pistol and flattened Kinnunen.

3 people weren't killed. 2 people and a monster were killed.

Heard another report that the church had given him food, but he was upset that they would not give him money.
