Bizarre incident with dog attack

The two dogs in this case were pit bulls named Max and Durma who had a history of fighting and aggression.

The victim in this case, Joshua Jadusingh, was the owner of the pit bulls.

The neighbor heard Jadusingh's screams for help and retrieved the crossbow he uses for hunting when he saw what was happening.

Harrington said that the neighbor was standing at the bottom of a staircase when he fired the crossbow at one of the pit bulls standing at the top of the stairs in front of a door Jadusingh was hiding, trying to get away from the dogs.

“The neighbor shot the crossbow, hit the dog in the scruff of the neck,” she said. “The dog did not die, but the crossbow, it’s called a bolt, the bolt went through the door and unfortunately hit somebody behind the door.”

jimmy, your description of the event makes it even more plain and more tragic.

The FOX news report posted by Jimmy is fairly consistent with the original Iberkshires and masslive reports,the victims name is correct and the victims was shot through a door I do believe.

its a more bizarre version of that thing in South Africa. That famous athlete thought an intruder was behind the bathroom door, so he fired a pistol through the door, and killed the person behind the door...his own girlfriend.

This guy tried to save the person behind a door by shooting this crazy weapon he had, and the weapon only grazes the attacking dog, and ...kills the person he was trying to save by sending a projectile through the door!

Well s**t...I mean "stuff" happens all of the time.

They still haven't found Bradford Bishop.

He was that respectable high up in the US State Dept. who lived in the Ritzy suburb of Potomac MD (only single digit miles from where I lived in Bethesda at the time), who came home one day, and...murdered his whole family. And then just vanished. Must be going on three decades now. A celebrated mystery. But it didn't really stigmatize the town of Potomac MD. Of course we are near Washington DC. The inner city of DC had scores of murders a month during the crack wars of the 80's. So the contrast factor may take away any stigma attached to just one family getting greased in a place.

Sounds reminiscent of the John Emil List case out of Westfield,NJ in the 70's but they caught List in 89 or 90 or something.

There was a murder suicide in I think Sheffield,MA which is in the south end of the county,where a man killed his wife,three kids,set the house on fire and then killed himself,another sad story.
