closest i came was an OD [mild] of nitrous in the dentist's chair [my fault  :drunken: :hic: ] when i reached around after the dentist ducked into the next stall for a bit, and cranked up the tank sitting behind me]. i floated out of my body in an ascension towards the ceiling, then i went to someplace all-white, the brightest white i'd ever seen, and the sounds of the dentist were like a long ways off. it was a place of utter peace. then something jerked me back into my body with a shuddering jerk, and the dentist, who had returned by that time, thought he had hurt me.

my grampa had an NDE also, when his heart stopped on the O.R. table in 1973. after he recovered at home, people were asking him, "well, what did you see?!" and all he would say to anybody, was "i'm not afraid of dying anymore." he was a shy person.

Your experience of seeing around the hospital is very similar to my grandmother. She could see other rooms and details in hospital, as well as her family members in other cities.

I know another person who died, and he said that he knew "everything" in the universe. Everything made sense. All physics, all history, all everything. He also knew that there were other steps or stages but he was pulled back.

Who knows what it means, or why it happens. I'm glad you came back to us though, Ez.

Thanks.

I just saw the room I was in.

Just shared the article & video from the op with an 84yo relative when discussing the declining health of his ~95yo brother, the passing of his wife etc. Also read EzraS’ accounts out loud for a couple people to hear as I think there’s tremendous value in his story. 8)

I might not care much for his politics nor goldfish opposition syndrome :p , but EzraS’ posts in this thread elevate him to a different sort of respectable position IMO - Yes, even though there is no way he can Prove what he claims his experience to have been. ;) I believe him & have a sense of respect & appreciation for him and what he’s shared here. 8)

I have not had a NDE, but I have been out of my body more then once. Several times whilst in church in the past I have been hovering over my body and looking down.
During one of these experiences the Lord showed me around Heaven.
My Mum has had a NDE, and I have heard testimonies from both people who have seen Heaven, Hell or both during NDE's, and also heard of more then one person who prayed for someone and they came back to life. On at least one occasion a lot of massaging had to be done to get the blood flowing again.

These NDE descriptions are very similar to kabbalistic descriptions of Infinity, where the soul actually is. Awesome Ezra that you can remember.
