Does anyone else read the thread title to the tune of "ra-ra-Rasputin", or is that just my own brand of lunacy?

I read it to the tune of "Bye Bye Blackbird". Which I am sure was the OP's intent. Never heard nor heard of the song you're talking about.

Not sure what the point of that vid was. But it was fun to watch. They pronounce it "Rass-put-TEEN".

Like most Americans I pronounce the guy's name "rass-SPUT-in".

Here is the only other song I am aware of...about Rasputin( his end at the hands of assassins is only microscopically exaggerated):

Ras-PEW-tin is how you pronounce it, as far as I know.

I wonder how it is pronounced in Russian....

Asperger's, in German, would be pronounced something like "Ash-bair-gers."

I meant "pewt" , as in "pewter", OR "put" (as in "computer").

Not "put" as in "shot put".

Really? Its part of "the American Songbook". Sung by every pre rocknroll pop crooner of my parents' generation( Peggy lee, old blue eyes,Sammy Davis Jr., Ella, etc).
